How to fix Steering Rack Knock Sprinter 906. 

Part is known as a “thrust piece” or “rack guide”.

I just replaced this and still no change :(

910 build Sprinter does the same. I wonder wherever it has the same rack.

Have you done this with the car standing on the floor? Or with the wheels in the Air?

Great video, Just done this fix on my 2017. Literally a 20 min job. Jack and axle stand support the front, leave the wheels on. Its facing front of the van, just in from the right front whel. 17mm offset spanner for the nut. Noise now gone :)

does the steering fluid have to be drained to do this?
