Tinkernut, I'm so thankful to you. ;; I had a red stuck pixel on my screen, what I used to fix it is the script mentioned in this video, and meanwhile the software was generating it's colors, tapped the screen with thumb. Didn't put much pressure, just a little of, pretend if you were massaging the screen. The pixel faded away, came back, disappeared again, then came back. Afterwards, I tapped it once more and it disappeared completely.

i had the same problem. it's the video card that's processing too fast. mine looked like mush at first...but oddly enough when i recorded it using my screen capture program, it looked fine.

I Just Changed My Reaselutions Around And It Worked.. Much easier

I just push with my finger that spot ,and that's it :) I have doing that for over year and a half ,and my monitor is still in perfect shape :)

Thank you very much you've helped me with fixing those black stuck pixels on my galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition which had been there for months, and although it's a superAmoled, not IT'S, screen but the physical pressure method of yours was very helpful in eliminating most of those black pixels, I have tried most of the software methods but unfortunately, non of them worked, thanks again man.

If you have a dead pixel where you have those lines across your screen, you can plug a small tv to your laptop if you have the spot to plug a tv

Before you try the manual method you should look at the defektive pixels with a magnifying glas. If the subpixel appear to be partly covered by something it might be some foreign material in one of the layers, rubbing it could result in a larger area to be affected. I had a few black pixels on a laptop screen once that spread into hundreds of coloured and gray pixel(depending on what part of the subpixel is covered) wich changed when rubbing them (because the foreign material is spread to another pixel). After changing the screen with a new one (yay ebay) I took the defektive screen apart, the dark Pixel spots dissapeared when I seperated the colour filter from the polarizer, I suspect some material from the colour filter rubbed of and swam around ind the liquid crystal layer.

i don't know what u mean about "100%"...u can make the software urself...so i guess if ur worried about something u create urself then i wouldn't do it at all. as for the lcd screen, if it was safe to tap on it, i wouldn't have put the big warning in the middle of the video.

love it just baught my nnew gaming monitor and 1 hour ago there where no dead pixels or stuck pixels and now i notice there is a dead pixel in the botom left corner

I've have had on lg monitor long time ago and I tried all things and came to a conclision. If they apear, they will ether go away by themselves and come back some times or stay for ever ! Don't bother trying to fix

Please respond, I hit my laptop screen on the corner and now lines are on it. I touched it and now it's a black spot on the laptop, my laptop starts up fine but it's just that screen. This just happened now and I don't have the time to buy anything. And I am terrified to take my laptop apart, if there is anyway I can fix this with software please help and respond!

thanks!! the 1000 is sweet. i have a black 1000 and a silver 3000. i think that the 3000 is the best tho. it has an amazing screen and u cant even see the lines that run across it. i suggest keeping ur 1000 and just making money to buy a 3000 bc 1000 is amazing still!!!!

I had that to, but mine was atlest 20 lines, and it's caused by a small crack in the lcd screen.

amazing i just took the back of the pen and tapped the monitor screen gently with the back of a pen, my monitor whas showing a green stuck pixel and when i started tapping on it it started to flicker a little and then it started working again now it's back to normal thanks for the advice!

pressing or flashing screen never works. I've been dealing with dead pixels for more than decades and I have never seen any dead or stuck pixel gets fixed by pressing on spot or running flashing screen for days. Only way to fix them is return them. :(

I've got one green stuck pixel on the top of my monitor and sadly none of these solutions have worked for me. Also it seemed to me that the pressure method didn't affect this one pixel but all the others around it. Well I guess I have to live with it for now (Even if it just pierces my eye all the time)^^

i have a strange, stuck pixel that appears light blue on white, black on orange, and formerly red on black.. by tapping it on a black screen, i got it to display the correct color on dark colors, so it is obviously a perfectly functioning pixel.. but i cant get it to stop display all light colors incorrectly..

how about two whole lines near the center of the screen stuck at one color on a laptop display? It used to be either that tapping the lower section of the display below it, turning it on and off or running one of those "dead pixel fix" videos for half an hour would make it go away but lately more lines have been appearing (although these come only sometimes when opening/closing the lid and go away in about a dozen seconds or so) and two so far permanent green ones have appeared near the center of the screen.

i dont think thats the problem with my dsi screen when you open it up you can see what on the whole screen but it i a light blue and green color (not mixed) then fades to a dark blue and black whick is clearer howdoi fix it

please help i have a olevia 255T FHD LCD HDTV and half of the screen has green distortion like flickering dots or pixels but colour green and only on exactly half of the tv (left side). The green colour is only prominent when there is black on the screen like when watching it in 4:3 aspect and there is this huge green bar where black is supposed to be and while there is the colour black on the tv image it has green flickering dots T.T have any sugestion how to fix this problem?
