This is driving me crazy for months, I'm gonna have to do this. I wore my watch swimming in ocean so guessing that's what happened similar to yours. Will definitely be going back to Garmin for my next smartwatch
Thank you so much for sharing this useful video. My watch with a non-functioning heart rate sensor and spo2 sensor is now up and running again ! I have followed it and took apart my pro 3 gps. * The first time cleaning didn't work, I suspect it's because I did not take off the Philip screw on the watch back panel which was holding on the sensor board ** 2nd time cleaning: I went and removed the back panel again and cleaned both that sensor board and the connector attached to the watch back cover with a Q-tip. Reapply glue and reinstall everything , turn on the watch and bingo !! It is working again. ( There was no visual residue or buildups both times when I took off the watch back cover, it may be because the parts are so small it's not easy to spot without proper equipment )
Thanks a lot. Heart rate and blood oxygen sensors are working perfectly now. The only downside of soaking the panel in isopropyl alcohol is that it affects the plastic. Mine turned whitish.
Thank a lot. My sensors stopped working a few months after warranty. As you said, mobvoi have been useless in trying to resolve this. Sadly, one reason I bought this was for the swim functions. So there's no way I could swim with it after this. Ironically my sensors haven't worked at all for months and just today they started blinking again, however, they still won't take any readings.
I love my TicWatch Pro 3 GPS. I recently had to replace the charger and got a small cheap $14 watch charging dock. I’ve considered getting the Pro 3 Ultra but, a new ticwatch is supposed to be coming really soon. I also have a Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 pro that i love.
Many thanks! This worked for me - didn't even have to remove the sensor board! Just a few drops of vodka on a Q-tip did the trick (we were out of any medicinal alcohol). Won't be swimming with it ever again though!
FIXED IT! My watch didn't show any signs of corrosion, however it seems as though the ribbon cable wasn't attached properly. All sorted now, been a week now and watch works perfectly!
I have same problem, but it does not work . Anyway thanks for your video. I have contacted the Ticwatch, they ask me to buy new one with a discount code.
I had the same issue but I tried to clean it before seeing this video. Not successful at all. Too much corrosion. Il am looking for this barometric and sensor PCB as spares parts! Any ideas where we can but it??
They have asked me to provide a video with proof and after confirming they have asked me to: 1)wear your watch tightly and go to your watch Settings-Personalization and choose Off wrist calibration and see if it will solve your problem. THIS DIDN'T WORK 2)If the solution doesn't work, please kindly please long press 2 watches buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds and release your fingers until the Ticwatch logos appears. Please use lower button to select the options and press power button to enter the ship mode then your watch will be turned off. Please restart your watch to see if your problem can be solved. DIDN'T WORK AS WELL, I HAVE SENT THEM AN EMAIL AND AM AWAITING A REPLY AGAIN
This didn't work for me unfortunately, but on my watch the water sensor was bright red. So I now know that the water proofing on the watch was not effective and the watch got wet. Bit of a letdown from the manufacturer's perspective. Will not be buying another tic watch.
i have a probleme with my watch i cant use it when i power my watch it shows me many option as if im inside the setup, this problem when i was swmming with it
