Nice job bro, i have exactly the same problem with my Toshiba l50B and i want to replace the shorted capacitor, can you give me the exact value of this one? And if it's possible where can i find it?
excelent job!! thank you for sharing the video! definatelly you should have much more viewers. In one video you gave a great methodology for detecting the problems. i have identical laptop (Toshiba satelite L50-B-11H PSKTAE-01N008GE) with all voltages onboard but black screen. I downloaded the bios from the official website in .exe. i unzipped it and edit the .fd erasing the extra lines compared to the bios dump file. I'm not 100% if the edited .fd file is valid. If it's ok for you please share the .bin or .fd bios file you used, the bios version and your board model. Also if you have a schematic or/and boardview file. Moreover, i'm looking for the bios short pad, without a valid schematic i can't find it to reset the bios. If you know where is on the board you'll help me a lot. thank you
@@harounsahnoun great its so important. If you do more laptop repairs and explain everything in english...also put english in your titles...i guarantee that you will increase views..subscribers...and make more money for yourself. There are very few out there except those indians who do complete component repair. Those indians speak hindi and are missing out on huge revenue potential. Do everything in english and watch your channel grow. Do as many videos as you can. Louis Rossmann is the macbook guru and makes $250000 USD a year just from youtube. You can too and be the number 1 laptop repair guru. Honestly if you are keen and dedicated enough it can happen.
That's so tough. Two different faults. Shorted cap and bad bios. Always worth a try on bios as last resort. Where do you download all your bin files from?
