You can fix / repair your totally not working Mouse by this method.
If you don't have soldering Iron: • How to repair/fix faul...
Tools and Equipment:
------------------------------------------------
1. Any Kind of USB Data Cable
2. Screwdriver
3. Soldering Iron
Working Process:
-----------------------------------------------
1. Unscrew and Open The Mouse
2. Using soldering iron Remove The USB Cable from Circuit Board Of The Mouse.
3. Before Do That keep the connection and 4 Wire Color of the Cable Note.
4. Now collect a USB Cable. Like Mobile Data Cable, Printer Data cable etc.
5. Prepare the USB cable for Solder with Board.
6. Solder Those 4 Cable and Reset The Mouse. Now your Mouse ready for Work.

It worked!! You can also do it by cutting the existing wire and conect it with the data cable. Note> some old mouses have an other uncolored wire ,conect it with the aluminium foil that is inside the data cable(beetwen the colored wires and the plastic data wire cover(only on some data cables)_). Also do not forget to clean the sensor if the mouse is not working properly ,there are many videos in You Tube about it.

Once you have the cover off, before disconnecting the cable from the board, maybe use a voltmeter to check if the cable is bad or just the connection. Maybe one of the leads needs to be re-soldered?

Try flipping it over and over again because the electrons can't get through as good as when it is tangled up works all the time for me, and once done right don't do very very very jerky and sudden moves because that will simply disconnect it because the censor cannot pick it up hopefully this helps you and have a nice day!

It only turns blue the logo but the other leds remain off and it doesn't work, not on my pc, not on my phone, on nothing... not even the steelseries support is able to help me, they give me solutions that do not work and it takes them 3 days to respond (wich is kinda decent for a multi corporation )

U can cut old wires keeping 1 inches with main board. Then joint old cables rest of wires with new data cables wires.

Well, cut the 4 wire from the mouse circuit board, keeping like 1 inches wire on circuit board. Then joint new data cables 4 wire with circuit boards 4 wire by your hand and use any kind of insulating tape to keep the joints separate from each other.

What is written above the circuit board? Orange is v+, blue is ground, green is data+, white is data-. If u can show me a pic of the circuit board then I can tell you where have to joint what color.

Remove all kind of stickers even heel to dind out screws. If there are no screw then try to unlocke frames lock with flat screwdriver things

Cut the wires keeping 1 inches on circuit board of mouse. Then joint the other cables 4 wire with the circuits 4 wire. Use pvc tape to separate joints from each other.
