Omg Thank You! My phone was frozen and the trust this computer kept getting denied although I wasn't. This video helped me and the only one that worked to restart my iphone 12 mini!

you can fix it with itunes app from mac or windows. Initially trust from mac then it will appear on iphone or ipad

My problem connecting to a Windows pc have been solved by using a third-party usb to lightning cable from a powerbank I bought a few years ago, but it only connects if you flip it a certain side down. The first-party usb to lightning cable, which I bought new only a few weeks ago, couldn't connect on either side, which makes me think who makes better cables.

For me, using a proper usb-c cable (what GoPro gave for the camera) was a help in case of 15 Pro.

Still not working? Uninstall then reinstall iTunes.

Hmm, my iPhone shows up in my Windows laptop, but I tried everything in here, but can't get my iPad Pro to show up. I give up. Another one of Apple's weird glitches they never fix.
