This is a problem with Windows not wanting to use an external driver. Anything except companies it recognizes. I know this because I went to power and sleep options then advanced settings and changed the USB selective suspend settings to disabled. It worked the first time. After 1 week, this no longer works so it is deliberate. If you want to blame someone. Blame it on Microsoft. This means you can only use branded USB cables, branded USB chargers, etc. Fuck the users who can't afford to always buy branded stuff.
The USB device is not faulty and none of these fixes work. Sounds like a Windows issue. It use to work just fine on Windows 7. Tried multiple USB ports to no avail. I think you are a troll
The "Uninstall Device" method is the easiest, quickest and most likely way to fix the issue. At 3:29 the video explains this. Or just delete any driver with a yellow triangle and then scan for changes. Problem solved. 😀
Sir I performed all the steps Dell Inspiron 5559 Windows 10 Tried all USB ports... Tried the USB devices on different devices, working fine. Laptop was working fine 2 days ago...USB ports were working. Phone is charging but again, the notification of USB malfunction pops up. Tried checking all ports...None work, except for charging. All show same issue... I tried updating drivers...they were all up to date... Tried some tutorials from youtube and google...none worked... Please assist
Could anyone tell me what to do when my PC wont recognize any USB devices AT ALL? Like i cant get any mouse or keyboard to work on my PC after it crashed once. I have no way of giving any input into my PC…
I tried all these and it didn't work my keyboard when I plug it into my laptop works fine though and the usb port is fine on my pc as I plugged my old laptop in and it still worked just not with my new one
You say to find the part online. But it doesn’t just come up. And then the few things that do come up you have to pay for so I can’t even watch the rest of the video
Not working for me a set of headphones that is still working but Windows is spamming me with USB device not recognized even if I uninstall it it does it again over and over I have tried everything

My computer just farted out of nowhere. I haven't connected anything to it it just quit working. I wish they would stop updating my computer on the Internet. There's no way for me to stop updates. And seems like every time they want to update my computer it messes up something
there is no external or internal damage to my keyboard however all of sudden it read same error "device not recognized" I have tried all possible solution including above mentioned and when tried with different laptop it says same error, could you please let me know what exactly gone wrong with keyboard, is it usb plug not working properly or internal short-circuit caused damage to recognize this keyboard ?
@@reyy2051 having exhausted all available troubleshoot which is not at all workable it is internal electronic error or wiring may got defuse that is why it is happening, in short it is paralyzed and not at all useable, going forward i brought new one Ant ecosport 500, working like a butter on hot pan. Just buy new one.
@@reyy2051 then most probably it might be internal electric malfunction which is causing it, sometimes high/ unstable / electric voltage or earthing issue may cause mini component to get exhausted, if you have checked all available troubleshoot and in different pc and laptop if showing same most probably it is out of life.
Man, YOU ARE AWESOME! SUCH A LIFE SAVER! My USB worked for about an hour, then suddenly it stopped and i kept getting the "not recognized" notifications, i tried everything, even those mentioned common fixes but nothing worked. I was dissapointed and about to accept my fate that i wasted the money and got scammed.
