How To Fix Windows 10 Stuck in Safe Mode - Wont Boot/Infinite Loop

If you set Windows 10 to boot into Safe Mode, and you end up in a infinite-boot state in which it appears there is no way out, this tutorial will be for you guys.
This tutorial will hopefully resolve Windows 10 being stuck in safe mode and/or won't boot into the normal windows operating environment.
This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops,and tablets running the Windows 10 operating system (Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education) from all supported hardware manufactures, like Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba,Lenovo, and Samsung).

If you can get to safe mode but only see black screen, try system restore multiple times plus go to device manager and uninstall your graphics card driver or display adapter. Worked for me when none of the bootrec stuff did

I LOVE YOU BRO!!!!!! It did worked for me. OMG you saved my life.I 100% recommend following the above tutorial. It's easy and I personally think that this is the best way to get out of safe mode. In case if you are having trouble in getting into the troubleshooting menu,try pressing and holding the power button for 8 seconds. It'll power off your computer.Then press the power button to power on your computer and as soon as you press the power button keep pressing f8 repeatedly until you get into the troubleshooting menu. Then follow the steps in the tutorial.Hope this tutorial works for you.GOOD LUCK!!!

You need to receive the Nobel prize. You can't imagine how much ur solution helped me. Stuck in safe mode and can't login because my pin did not work in safe mode. Even on microsoft forum I did not have a solution. Definitely, I think going to switch to linux or os x in the end as microsoft seems to make our experience worse and worse years after years.

Great video and advice, I would also like to say that on windows 7 also delete and restore to default the "Alternate Shell". My grandfather was targeted by scammers and they put him in this safe mode reboot (loop) and tried to trick him to pay money to get out of it. Your video helped me navigate out of this issue once I determined the issue. Thanks again.

I’m not in a infinite loop my pc just refuses to boot normally. It will only boot in safe mode and it’s getting really annoying, happened as soon as I got the new update

I've done 6 or 7 hard shutdowns and starts but the Windows 10 Automatic Repair never kicks in. I just get the login screen for safe mode asking for a password. I can't remember ever using a password on this computer, just a PIN that I set up a year ago when I bought it. I've used my Microsoft account password and it says it's wrong.

Hi guys if you having trouble after this video or its not showing on cmd prompt the safemode then you all need to just reset you pc window just choose reset this pc but not your personal stuff in troubleshoot option, this way your problem will be fixed i done it my self and it's worked.

THANKYOUUUUUU!!!!!! This helped a lot. My laptop was stuck on homescreen overnight I watch a bunch of videos how fix this but it won't work, but this fortunately worked!! I accidentally enable safe mode and it restarted and stuck at homescreen and where you put password won't show. I tried combination keys and the other prompt command but it didn't work. Thank God this worked!!!!!

THANK YOU so much for this vid. newest version of Windows 10 safe mode is so STUPID cuz in safe mode it won't recognize my password [I think cuz it has disable the internet] & it does not has an option to enter Pin AND THEN to make the matter worst, there is no option to get out of the safe mode. @@MDTechVideos Maybe you can help with this: Update & security, Windows Updates do not open and the Security Services nor Windows Updates do not show up in the Services desktop app. At the same time I can't turn on Windows Defender, Microsoft Edge does not open nor show up in Services. And I've tried several Command Prompt commands like sfc /scannow, etc. which fail. I tried all restore, reset, auto repair, revert to previous version, media creation tool creation, safe mode and many other options and everything fails. I delete my only other account and now I'm in Administrator account only. I've unistalled all anti-virus or malware programs. This is a Windows 10 Home free upgrade from Windows 7 that I'm dealing with. Any help is appreciated.

Yo man. I went to msconfig and turned on safe boot and restarted my pc and my monitor is not turning on with my pc. When I manually turn on my monitor it shows no signal and goes off again. Is there a fix to this?

Mine goes into checking disk for errors automatically then none of this works, it just sits there. I have important files on there, of they're lost my work is lost.

It's REALLY handy to have a second monitor to do this! I followed the instructional video very closely and it worked the first time! Got my 10 back on line. Thank you. Another video I saw showed how to remove your sign in password. I had to watch that one 3 times. That worked too. Thanks.

Thank you. Had an issue in windows 10 where client used the PIN for login. As there were some system issue we decided to set boot to safemode minimal in msconfig to some diagnostic. On reboot Windows 10 asks for Windows Login not PIN. The PIN function to logging in is not activated in safemode you can only log in using the Microsoft Account.. If the account is not local to PC and an online account then you are locked out. To make things worse the client did not remember their Microsoft password and there was no point in resetting it with Microsoft online as the network functions were disabled on the PC.
