This is a detailed video guide about how to fix Wrist, Forearm and Elbow Pain that often comes from training Handstand, Planche and other Calisthenics Exercises like for example Pullups, Muscle Ups or Hefesto. Always make sure that you don't have a more serious injury if you try out some of these methods and always think for yourself and listen to your body! This video can not replace the visit of an expert if you have serious problems.

Ever since I first tried muscle ups on the rings, I've had this elbow pain. Thanks for the explanation. I hope I can recover soon because I love the rings!

Yeah it's a common problem :) and don't overdo it as long as you have pain it won't help you to progress ^^

Great video you clearly put a lot of effort into this. Well explained and quite concise. You earned yourself a like and sub from the first video I saw by you. Keep up the great content. So I got pain in my brachialis on my right hand. I rested about 1 month and still hasn't healed. I think that I should start training again but I am not sure what to do. I have lost a lot of progress in this month and I will be very grateful if someone can help me with this problem..

hey man :) I wpuld recommend to go back to normal training with just avoiding exercises that increase your pain! maybe you can also switch grips or something to have some variety! complete rest mostly doesnt help too much!

Danube bro that was a extremely helpfull video!!! What about lateral epicondylitis /tennis elbow how it is called ? still because handstands and planches. I mean when the problem or the affected area is not a muscle, it is a tendon thinghy... you are an expert and you know better. Thanks and keep it up, you are the best !!! we want more skills tutorials !!!

thanks! what I am talking about here is the same principle as during the tennis elbow so you can apply the same principles :) And yeah its a tendon but those are always connected to a muscke which means that they can be stimulated by moving that muscle! and thanks for your feedback! 😊

Hello! I've been having pain in primarily my elbow for about 5-6 months now. It's gotten to be painful even when I'm not doing exercises or even being painful when just whenever thought the day even though I've been not working out for a few weeks now. I feel like a big problem has been whenever I do pushups the pain gets alot worse so I'm thinking that that's the main problem for me. Out of everything you've explained in the video what would you say the most important thing is that I should be doing?

Hey , i did some handstanding last week but last day i pushed myself to a point that i doubled my normal training , after that i didn't train for a week , then after ; all of a sudden i couldn't lift myself , my elbows start to hurt me so much only when im in handstand position , im so frustrated & scared , i can't train& i don't know if something bad happen , if anyone read this and have/had this problem pls let me know how did u handle it

Yeah i have the same problem that is tendons pain in your bicep tendets and triceps tendents you have to take 2 days rest if your learning or new in hand stand calisthenic don't force your body to do the same excercise daily you have to take minimum 2 days break and take proteins through food as much as you can for fast muscle healing recovery

When is the best time to use an ice bath vs a warm bath for the elbows and wrists? If the idea is to bring more blood flow to the painful parts then a warm bath would be better, right? But sometimes there is some inflammation that we want to reduce, so we ice it. I'm a bit confused by when to do what, as I always hear that you should ice joints after intense exercise, but how long afterwards?

I’m training a lot to have a better form on planche on rings, so I’m having a similar pain that I had when I first started to train planche with supinated grip on the ground, but it’s actually hurting more than when I started on ground

I have golfers elbow on my left arm. Had it on right arm last year. Dident work out for 3 months. Got it from asisted OAP. i feel pain when im doing hanstand and hansdtaz pushups. Any advice.

when you say elbow and WRIST pain do you also mean pain in the hand? i have pain in my hypothenar eminence after trying to elevate my lower body onto my hands... for some reason every time i look up hand pain i get wrist pain...

Puh eigentlich unmöglich da von der Ferne was zu sagen, lass es dir evtl. mal ansehen 😅 ansonsten funktionieren die Prinzipien aus dem Video genauso auch für alle anderen Muskeln aber falls du dir was anderes zugeszogen hast hiöft das alles sowieso nicht viel

i thought locking the elbows whilst doing hand walks/ wall walks would do damage, so i would always keep my elbows slightly bend. Now i have some pain at the back of my elbow if i lift something heavy. I dont know wether to blame my weak elbow, or bend elbow. What do you think ?

MrDozip It really depends and I can't say it from here, it's not the lockout which is dangerous but repeating the same positions over and over and you also do that if you do it bend so you could probably apply the same methods shown in the video :)

I used to be able to do a handstand. But now after some time no doing it when I do it my right elbow hurts in the moment I'm doing it. It doesn't hurt prior nor after. Just during the handstand. Depending on the day I can do a handstand with the help of the wall for 30 seconds before it starts hurting and others in just five seconds it already hurts.

So my pain is in the back of the elbow, it is not extreme, but it is distracting and restricts me from doing certain exercises properly, I've been putting ice on it and stretching it a few times a day, it happened a day ago, when I lift and straighten my arm, I feel it, is it really serious? Or just following these steps and resting is going to solve it?

after i do negative pull ups (cause i can't do normal ones) mi forearm hurt so much is it normal ? Do i keep training or can it cause a tendinitis ?

Hey it could cause one actually but probably switching to chin ups for some time would make it better so try it out :) and don't overdo it as long as you have pain!

Habe mich jetzt an Selbstmassage versucht, da ich einen Schmerz verspüre, wenn ich auf den Knochen an der Innenseite des Ellbogengelenks drücke. Habe es am Unterarm und am Trizeps versucht. Jedoch konnte ich nur beim Trizeps Erleichterung verspüren. Gibt es da auch irgendeine Verbindung? Hatte schon Panik, dass ich einen Golferellbogen bekomme :D

Ja kann gut sein, Nerven und Bindegewebe ziehen ja oft über mehr als einen Muskel, schau mal bei Muskel- und Gelenksschmerzen vorbei, da gibt es vielleicht was hilfreiches für dich, hab es eh in der Videobeschreibung verlinkt
