Welcome to my tutorial on fixing the UAC Error in XAMPP! If you've encountered User Account Control issues while using XAMPP for your web development projects, you're in the right place. In this step-by-step guide, I'll walk you through the troubleshooting process to resolve the UAC Error and get your XAMPP up and running smoothly. After this video, you will not encounter "Important! All you need is to avoid installing XAMPP into C:\Program Files. Thus XAMPP will always use the original files for all users and there would be no confusion. I recommend to install XAMPP into the special folder in root directory like in C:\XAMPP. But before you choose the folder you need to click on this warning message.

Hello, I actually have the same problem as you describe and after several days xampp no longer works. I reinstalled xampp, can I do as in your tutorial and modify the registry key, even though xampp is already installed?

Yes, you can definitely try modifying the registry key as described in the tutorial, even if XAMPP is already installed.

Two methods did'nt work for me So clariffy two things Do you change the value number into 0 write down policies steps? First is right:policies_sytem ,then double click the system ,or there is difference?

hello, a respect question i tried your tutorial since I have experience the same problem and it was done but, however when i finish installing it and run it It immediately close the app, what would be the problem sir.Thank you.

Thank you for trying out the tutorial, and I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing difficulties with XAMPP. Here are some troubleshooting steps that might help resolve the issue: 1. XAMPP uses ports 80 (Apache) and 443 (HTTPS) by default. If another application is already using these ports, it can cause XAMPP to close. Try stopping any other web servers like Skype or IIS (Internet Information Services). You can also use XAMPP's control panel to change the ports it uses. 2. Check your firewall or antivirus settings to make sure XAMPP is not being blocked. 3. Even if you ran XAMPP as administrator during installation, there might still be permission issues. Try right-clicking the XAMPP control panel executable and selecting "Run as administrator" again. 4. In rare cases, the installation itself might be corrupt. Try re-downloading XAMPP from the official website (www.apachefriends.org/download.html) and reinstalling it, making sure to follow the steps in my tutorial to avoid the UAC error again.
