I scroll on my phone, but it's not an addiction. I just watch RU-vid shorts when I don't know what to watch, usually ends up giving me a good laugh but I just sit there waiting to find a good one.
back in my day they didn’t have to put subway surfers gameplay and minecraft parkour in the corner while the movie plays on the sides with captions covering the middle of the movie
My favorite part of this video is hiw he keeps saying try. Don't force yourself to do anything just because you think it'll be better for you. Cause if you force yourself to do something like read for 3 hours a day you'll quickly get tired of it and it'll seem like a chore.

Step 1 : Don't watch shorts. Shorts, reels and tiktoks or any short form video train and manipulate your brain to only focus for about 40 seconds or the duration of those shorts before you become semi concious and stop paying attention for a bit. The more short form videos you watch, the worse your attention span becomes
I used to watch many hour long video essays on games and a bunch of stuff but now I can’t get 40 minutes in because I always end up going to TikTok or shorts.
I have no problem, watching long videos they just have to be entertaining enough. I will watch the same thing for four hours. It is a question of whether I actually enjoy the topic.
