Nice video, but you could do it in an easier way, without moving out your dishwasher. I did it yesterday on mine, and worked perfectly hassle free. Just unscrew the metal panel underneath the door. This will allow you to reach the anti flood tray and empty it with a sponge or cloth. No need to move out your dishwasher👍👍👍
Hello. I just removed the front under plate and removed most of the water in the bottom with small bathroom towels and then let a fan blow for a hour just in case. Power on and everything was ok. Thanks for the tip that it was not necessary to take out the machine. Saved me a lot of time.
Thanks, it worked for me! I already cleaned the sensors but I still had to remove the water underneath. I used the bottom front panel to reach the water. Once you get the hang of it, it was not so hard. anymore.
I have just fixed mine. The dishwasher drain was running continually and wouldn't shut off, with the sump completely empty. I removed the strainer and steel tray to expose the sump hole. Then I got the garden hose and attached it to the outside tap and turned it on, with the nossle shut at the other end. Without removing any other panels on the side or front, I sprayed the sensors carefully a couple of times intermittently, from the garden hose nossle, whilst allowing the drain pump to empty the sump in between efforts, to give clear access to the sensors, with the spray, on each attempt, to clear the sensors out. After three spraying actions the sump pump stopped after the sump was completely empty and obviously the sensors in the sump hole were now clear of whatever was blocking them. Be careful not to put too much water pressure on the sensors from the garden hose nozzle, as it is generally over 2 bar or 28 psi. Only spray the sensors gently. My dish washer is a zanussi. If it had not cleared as described previously, I would have poured kettle hot water into the sump hole to melt any fat, then returned to the garden hose method again, whilst still hot. Good luck with yours ! Another tip, if your control lights do not come back on afterwards, turn the unit off and then back on again at the wall. The usual tip for any computer or chip controlled mechanism to re-set it.
Thank yoi so much. My partner is away for a while so attempted this myself. I usually leave these things to him but your video was so clear and easy to follow that i thought why not?! Works a dream now.and my self confidence has had a little boost also. Thanks a bunch.
Thank you very much ! I also have electrolux , but my model is a very easy job. I just had to remove front-down cover and remove the water. I drained the machine with a leg pool pump and dried it with a table ventilator. 1 hr job :) Thanks again !
Thank you so so much for this! May the good Lord bless you for me. I followed this direction, though my dishwasher is a different brand and it began working perfectly again. I am so excited. You saved me stress and money. Thanks once again.
Thank you a lot for your video!!! I could not get access to the sensor from the hole inside so I screwed out the front panel and from the I could take out the sensor (connected with an electric cable). On the other side of it I fount a 10-mm-thick layer of fat. After removing it my dish washer is working perfectly! Thank you again!
This is a great video, thanks for helping me fix the problem on my unit! The issue on my dishwasher is that one of the internal hoses had come off where it connects to the outside of the sump, just had to reconnect it and mop up the water and it's running again
Brilliant, just sorted mine. After I cleaned the sensors I filled the sensor bowl with hot water and left it for around 30 mins. Dishwasher on now as I write this.
Great video. I followed all your steps and it still happened. So I did it again, but left the sides off to see what was happening. Turns out there was a hole in my drainage pipe and that is what was flooding under my unit.
Thanks for this, had the error last year and had a technician from the company + a regular plumber to get this to stop. Today it took some time, but I managed it exactly like you indicated 👍
Spent an hour and a half following this guide, mine didn't have the sensors at the bottom but I gave the pipes and insides a good clean anyway. Soaked all the water up out of the bottom with paper towel and it's working again! Thanks a bunch dude!
Was going to follow your instructions but decided to try soaking up the water from the pool under the filter first…. It worked great, so didn’t have to pull it out and take off the side etc. thanks for the video 👍
I just wanted to take the time to say thank you for this video. As you probably saved me a lot of money. Easy to follow step-by-step guide. Worked after perfectly. Thanks again
Thank you so much you just saved me a £99 call out fee! My dishwasher would run then stop and flash. I had a look under it (front panel only, didn't remove the sides) and noticed one of the tubes had fallen off! So I reconnected it & also soaked up the puddle at the bottom just to be sure, now it's running like a dream! 😀
Thank you so much. I have a Gorenje dishwasher displaying Error F54. According to the manual, it requires a technician to solve the issue at hand. Watched your video and tried a similar approach. My dishwasher did not have any side covers to remove. So i just tipped the dishwasher in an 45 degree angle to let all the water drain out from the overflow tray. Then using a steamer, I cleaned up the sensors and small holes like in your video. After assembly, it runs again and the pump is not longer running mad. :D I hope the solution will last for some time.. :)
Thank you very much for this video. It helps me solve my problem and look like superman here at home :D Just some information for someone that comes after me. My dish is a zanussi zdt12011fa built into the cabinet and it has a screwed part at the bottom that comes out. With the removal of this part is possible to clean and remove the water from the bottom without having to remove all the rest and take if of the cabinet.
Thanks a lot!! I also never comment on videos, but I fixed the issue following your instructions. BTW To clean the sensors I used simple water bottle and kept spraying.💪
Thank youuu 🙏🙏 but yes, indeed our model also allows to fix this without removing the side panels, just the front lower panel. Also instead of syringe we used a sauce bottle to spray plain water. Some gunk came out and now it's washing again
Ikea Velgjord (Elextrolux) with i20 (drainage) error intermittently. approx 6 years old. Solved by flushing out the pressure sensor with a big syringe-and-hose using a degreaser solution. A big black and white "booger" came out of the sensor hole, so that made it kinda obvious as soon as I saw it :) For now everything runs smoothly again. Very glad I didn't have to go inside the machine
Thanks a lot for this video. Electrolux or/and IKEA dishwashers flood error - sensor and water collecting tray can be accessed by front plate just under the door, only 6 screws. Collect water, clean sensors inside as in video and voilà, don't need to move dishwasher at all, or to open side panels.
Thank you so much for this video it rellay helped me fix the issue, so far it seems like my dishwasher is working perfectly again!!! Only question, how long could it take before this happends again?
BEKO owners - Had the same issue with an 18 month old Beko dishwasher. In my case, when the overflow or excess water sensor is tripped, the Eco wash cycle light flashes and you cannot select any other functions. It will almost certainly be this issue if you see a small amount of water below the machine, but not always as it gathers in a small tray. You will hear the pump constantly trying to clear water even when the On button has not been pressed (the safety feature is triggered by mains feed) No amount of resetting will stop it happening and the pump will try to drain instantly as the mains power is switched on. I made sure it was disconnected from the mains, took the side off, drained the excess water off and dried the sensor. Dishwasher working again. In my case it all seems to have stemmed from a bit of glass in the drain, although that could have been a coincidence
I never leave comments on RU-vid but I had to just say thank you for this. It worked perfectly and saved me a fair few quid in the process! (Zanussi dishwasher for reference).
Had somewhat the same issue with mine, as the dishwashwer started to work while being turned off, so it was just enough to unscrew the front bottom of it and dry it as it was full of water. Dried the area where the filter is supposed to be as well. Seems to be up and running again :) thanks for the video anyways
Man, you're awesome!!! So, I opened the furniture, I wiped the spider web, I found a loaf of bread, then I opened the front tablet under the door. There was not much water. From there you can't see that valve that blocks the water leak, then I cleaned the sensors area with a kharker steamer, then I wiped all the excess water collected there. I started the dishwasher, in the first phase the pump ran empty again for 15 seconds, then, miraculously, it started to draw water and life returned to normal. My wife says I'm a genius. He doesn't know our secret! U made my day! Ti iubesc pt clipul pe care l-ai facut in cazul in care te pricepi si la moatore! am un OM642, dupa fiecare regenerare are o usoara vibratie/tremur la relanti, ce-o fi ?
If your lights keep flashing, you need to reset the system after the error. Hold the function button down and turn it off and back on again. Mine only worked after doing that!
I had a similar problem My dishwasher wouldn’t drain so I cleaned the filter and emptied the water out with the nozzle from a carpet cleaner Unfortunately the tray underneath had filled with water stopping the machine taking on water so I pulled the machine out and decided to tip the machine forward emptying the water on the floor and mopping up with towels saving having to take the side panels off
I completely removed the machine to remove the underplat where the water was sitting, and the floater that engages the microswitch to in case of to much water was full of slimy stuff that made it float quicker up so for the people doing it the easy way try and check that it clean. Thanks
I’ve done this (just took the front panel off) and it did the trick. But won’t this just keep flooding and setting it off in the future? There must be a leak for it to have done it in the first place no?
Thanks for the video, it worked for me on another Electrolux model. However, before I saw your video I took out that black piece that can be seen on your video at 5:04 and I can’t put it back. I guess I shouldn’t have. Is there any trick for putting it back? I took the two small projecting parts into the two holes, but they do not seem to go in full length. At least, this black piece does not stand there firmly, falls off very easily. Also, I have no idea where the third small part on the back goes into. So, just wondering if anyone else took out this black piece and knows how to put it back. An idea? Would greatly appreciate your help.
had this exact issue on different model.. solution worked but I did the rookie error or running a cycle with a bunch of dishwashing liquid inside.. ended up with suds everywhere :p :) :)
dwl-dea701-b indesit model user : Had same error. i did nearly all what you did - did not help. I took side panels off drained it again, used hair drier to dry it better, left it for 2 days, after 2 days i turned it on - it displayed f01 but because there was no water it could not pomp anything- i switched it off, switched on - and used normal program, took a torch and it turned out that this model has badly designed outlet hose and it cracked in 2 places, ordered new hose - 10 pounds with delivery and I am waiting for it to come. What worries me now is - i have corroded parts underneath and it was factory s fault , i will change hose but the rest is stil rusty and it will die sooner or later without my fault...
No problem. I couldn't find too many references on Candy dishwashers. Maybe these links will help: www.elettro-domestici.com/articoli-elettrodomestici.asp?id=475 and capitalrepairs.co.uk/news/candy-washing-machine-error-codes/
