use a scrap piece of wire in the connector spots that are suppose to be left empty to help line the wire pins up. also if a solid wire you may consider a keystone puncheon jack instead of using a coupler.
DIFFERENT COLORS Just completed my best try at repair and the camera works. In my ANNKE Model 151DJ, the wires were all solid colors and to FIND the sequence at the connection which was totally blitzed. I found nothing online with these colors shown. I had to dissect the core. I used your spacing and physical sequence in the old plug in this order: Orange Yellow Green (Grey) Purple Blue Brown (White) I cut short the Grey and the White before inserting in RJ45.
Hey mate, great video, but I’ve a problem. My TP-Link Vigi pan-tilt camera has a different wire colour: orange, yellow, brown, grey, purple, blue, green & white. How do I crimp the replacement RJ45 (T568B)? Thanks 🙏
Out of curiosity, why didn't you use a cat5e or cat6 module. And to weather proof it use a small price of heat shrink. As well as some of those wires may be stranded. If that's the case soldering the wire carefully then punching it into a module may be easier.
Hi Mate, your explanation was awesome, even do, my camera is a Swann brand some of the wire colour code was different, but by elimination I managed to match the wires, From Australia, Thanks bro you just save me a camera, now is working 100 percent.

I have a Jennov camera with pins of yellow, Gray, Green, White, Purple, Blue , Blue & White and Black can someone help with the matching pinout for rj45 keystone jack.
What model of camera are you using? Was the original connector badly damaged? Its possible the pins could have been shorted out inside the camera as well, causing it to not support POE anymore. Or you can try redo'ing the connector replacement.
I have an acesse IP camera, it has 5 single stand wires in a color scheme I can't find on the internet. Black, blue. Purple, green and green/white. It's powered by separate power cord. Unsure how to wire into new female connector
Hi I have the same issue with my camera but my problem is that the colors are different I don’t know the order White Green Purple Blue White and green White and blue Can u help me please
That looks like a Dahua model, which we do not have information on currently. I would reach out to Dahua directly, or even a google search may get you your answer! Just be sure you get the proper pinout for your specific model.
