Thanks! Helped me fix my wife's Weslo Cadence treadmill. She's used it 90 minutes a day for the past three years. Figures that belt would be loose by now! Btw, tightening that belt is exactly like tightening an accessory belt on an old car. Brings back memories! 🤣 Subscribed!
I lubricated my treadmill mat that didnt work. I can still feel it was slipping and almost threw my treadmill. Until i stumbled on your video. It made my treadmill new again. Thanks for sharing this wonderful and informative video because of you i saved money from buying another treadmill. God bless you.
Thank you! I have the same treadmill model and the same problem. Now the slip is gone thanks to this video. I had trouble getting enough leverage with a crowbar, so I used a ratchet strap instead. It worked great.
Thx, exactly my problem to! my proform has the motor upside down and about impossible to get a crow bar in there to the bolt your using for leverage but I took a similar long lag bolt and stuck it where it slides and was able to use it to pull it tight with the crowbar like you did above
Hey JOSEPH, glad to hear YOU got it figured out.. also I found some QUICK GRIPS worked even better I just cranked them down on the motor and the frame.. Take care my FRIEND :)
Hi Patrick. You are welcome.. It is kind of a two person job.. Would be nice for one person to apply the pressure while the other tightens the nuts/bolts. So far it has been working great. take care, my FRIEND :)
ETPC EPIC TIME PASS CHANNEL hi friend , no this didn’t help sadly . I thought it would. Can’t adjust the motor because the machine is brand new so I dare not open it up you see. This is the first time I ever had this problem . I did a little research (too late) and discovered that it is a known problem with this model .
hi NICOLE, so your belt is broken?...if YOU have the owner's manual call 1-866-699-3756 for customer care... have the model number and serial number of the device ready.. the serial number should be on the left hand side of the track on the bar that runs parallel with the track. Lift up the track and lock it in place then as you look at the treadmill, it will be on the lower left hand side.. I hope this helps.. once YOU have the model number and serial number call the number and YOU should be able to order a part
Hopefully it helps my FRIEND. YOU can also use something like an irwin quick grip to pull the motor towards the frame.. I did that and it was much easier than my Crowbar method :)
Got a lot of torque but when i run or walk on 15% incline my feet push down the motor faster than the speed it's set on. Spinning the motor too fast. Why?
@@ETPCYT It seems as though the motor is not holding me up on the steep incine. The belt is pulling the motor faster than the speed it's on. So my motor spinning faster than its set speed because my feet are making the belt go faster and the motor too.
