Same here... currently about to use your iron for the 1st time...all natural 2 years now and attempting to straighten my hair for my 50th birthday!! Thanks to finding you I would not be on this hair journey at all🥰
Toya, First I have to say, thank you sooooo much for all the info, and having this channel. I have learned so much, and have in the past been a every 6 weeks touch up person who unbeknown have been damaging my hair. The past 2 years have been a complete turn around. I use to think I couldnt stretch, but I have tell you, I successfully went from 6, 8, 12, 14, 16 weeks. Youre right!!! U have to tell your hair what to do!!! And it is so easy!!!" Embrace your new growth" you said. That was a revelation! My hair is so much stronger, healthier now. Thanks so much. You would be so proud of meeeee!!!!
Great results!! Your tips helped me stretch to 16 weeks and it was still looking good. Now I’m aiming for 24 weeks since my hair is on the fine side, thanks again Toya!
Your hair looks great! It’s funny I pushed back from my salon because they’re on the every 6-8 weeks thing which I did for years and my hair was thin and slow growing.
You can do it. I now perm every three months. I crotchet braid my hair eight weeks after a perm and wear that for four weeks. I will try for longer in the future.
Gorgeous results!! I have fine hair so I love the thickness I get when I stretch my relaxers. However, I workout about 4 - 5 days a week so I can only stretch to 13 wks. I would love to stretch longer but it's too difficult to manage my new growth while working out. I do not use direct heat on my hair. I roller set and then wrap it. It would be great if you can provide some tips on stretching and working out.
