Thank you so much! I didn't know you could pin chars or even load it into MS2020, I was sitting there trying to match the two and FS2020 didn't like some of the way points? This is really helpful, short and easy to use - thank you so much!
Nice one. Well presented. Look forward to seeing the in depth Tutorial, of planning from Simbrief/Navigraph, and putting it into MSFS 2020, then into the MCDU, and finally fly. When i load from Simbrief into MSFS 2020, it never seems to be the same route, especially when i incorporate Pilot2ATC as well. I always end up flying a different route than was planned for me, especially on longer distance flights.
Thank you glad you enjoyed. Yeah navigraphs isn't quite ready for mfs2020 or simbrief lol it is possible but some way points or airways are out etc how do you find pilots2atc
@@InsideAgameR Pilot2ATC is very good indeed. Vatsim seems very daunting to us flightsim noobs, but with P2A you get that interaction but without the stringent rules of vatsim. Expensive, but a nice extra tool to have.
02:04 But then you will also not have a chart available in navigraph to look at. In other words you are making kind of a custom approach or something else customized which you also can do directly in navigraph by adding your prefered waypoints to the flightplan.
great video thankyou. Im newish to Navigraph and simbrief and worked out most basics but the main problem I have is adding an efficient star and approach to the plan when a dotted line shows with a .pln imported from simbrief for example. I use the chart overlays etc but finding it difficult to match the approach and star in an efficient way. do you have a video on this or can point me in the right direction please.
Basically I get my side and stars from sim brief for my flight planning but good thing with this you can choose your own then match with mfs flight planner or you use mcdu fmc yourself
Very good tutorial thank you, though MSFS doesn’t seem to like loading a .pln unless it is created in MSFS. Would love to see how it is meant to be done from NGraf.
What to do when, after loading a flight plan into msfs, the ATC makes ur departure and arrival runways different from your plan? I guess the best way to do it is find out what are the active runways. Or, don’t use ATC. How do I do that before building a plan?
Personally I don't use Atc of mfs or xplane I use pilot2atc which is a plug I that way better buy it's not cheap I would suggest no Atc I find mfs it wasn't getting me down on time for ils anyways
You would go into your flight plan in the cockpit and manually change your procedures. You will then find an ATC option appearing when you're aloft allowing you to request the IFR change.
you need the save the file on your pc as a .pln file then when you load up the sim load flight plan load your pln file wherever you saved it then it will load
Yeah I have this because of my xplane and the airac cycles so I don't mind the subscription won't be long before mfs2020 will need a program like this to update the fmc or mcdu so your aim brief plans and stuff will work
@@InsideAgameR I hope so once they have fixed the bugs I can't wait to see what they will implement in the future 😁 they have done an awesome job so far
@@InsideAgameR yes unfortunately but really even being up for sale now I would say really at the stage it's at its still feels like the beta stage but like all the other fs it just keeps getting better
@@spydigitaluk Yeah it's great fun I'm loving it think ga stuff is better then the jets atm this will be a great game but even xplane at the beginning was bad took ages and same for this but more gamers are trying this game they don't understand lol they just mad that it don't work lol
