🔥🔥GREAT video bro makes sooo much sense and thanks for sharing your flow tips buddy going defo try more flow and less trick in my sim from now on love your style of flying an tunes of course 😉keep up the great work you do till next video have a super week 👌👊💜uk
Great video mate. Really nice flying. I still have to work a lot for having the movements locked in. Hopefully winter allows me to go out practice a bit. Its been snowing and raining for the last 2 weeks here. Itching to get out and fly. Looking forward to the next parts. Keep it flowy :)
Reminds me very much of Drews trick series he did a few years ago, but a nice, fresh perspective. This is great as I love both of your flying styles, which are very similar but you have a bit more juice! Thanks for doing these, they are great to watch and valued, trust me! 😁 ❤️
IMO Sync and VIK are the greatest pilots....buttttt maby that’s gonna change. Fuck you have control over that quad😳 you gotta promote yourself more. Found you by accident. Can’t wait to get home and watch some of your other videos!!!💪😃 KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! Kind regards from Denmark
Dude, so pumped for this series. Just found this video randomly and immediately subbed. I’ve seen “tutorials” on better freestyle and finding flow but they were all pretty obvious stuff. This was actually extremely beneficial and had a ton of value
ye... looking at your flying... its pretty easy :p thanks for the tips ill get them in mind next time ill fly :) will be back for part 2 and more. keep up the good work
Than you man. Some really good tips. Especially for a beginner like me. I flew my freestyle qwad only three times now. I'm trying to get comfortable with flying on tighter space and flying on a constant flow.
@@SlattFpv You're very welcome! I started learning the fade away move 3 days ago. It's the same move you were teaching which is avoiding a wall. Today I did it and it's starting to look better. I think I need to move the roll/pitch stick faster. I crashed at my last practice. Glad only one prop broke after hitting a concrete wall. The screw got chipped but motors are still fine, WHEW! 🤣
Awesome man ! Glad you were able to take something from it and try it ! You can do it at the park with some trees if you want to start off alittle safer 😂 haha but i went straight to concrete when i started so I respect that
@@SlattFpv just uploaded. Let me know what you think about my fade away move or avoid object move 🤣ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-thzh3ZAeyHM.html
thank you very much for this useful sharing, greeting from your new FP brother. permission i will learning from your vids. happy weekend and take care 👍👍🤩👊🙏🍻
Yep, I throw it backwards to slow it down right before dropping vertically through a gap, makes it way easier... spiral dropping through is so much easier it's kind of like cheating. I raise my motor idle speed just a smidge to stay more on the throttle. I actually like being a little bit floaty. When coming out of a loop or dive I start coming on the power a little early just to get the finger moving in the direction it's about to go. Yawing 360 x3 will teach you throttle control to maintain your height even while the world is spinning in a confined area. Everything I do is improvised at the spot. Do whatever you want, go where ever you want, when you see it, without even thinking about it. If someone asked me to do a pre-planed aerobatics routine like the Pitts aerobatic pilots do, I'd blike holy hell can't do it... too ridged, stilted and suffocating. I mean I could, but after a few of those I'd be enough of that, time to go back to doing what I want when I want as I want. You need to teach Steele how not to be afraid of the dark... :-)
Big thanks for making this video, it came up on my suggested feed. Still on sim whilst getting parts for my first quad.. after watching this, less than 24hrs and I’ve levelled up 🙌 can’t wait to watch the rest. Excited to get in the air😁🤙✨
Freaking expert!!! You are a PROOOO, BROOOO!!! 😁🤣👍🏼 Good job flying like this, and you got really nice and very smooth locked flow!! I love that office spot, very cool place to fly at for sure!! Good job!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Killer job brotha 💪 I dig your style. Super chill explanation of flow progression, throttle management, and spacial awareness 💯🔥🔥🔥 Looking forward to seeing your channel grow 👊🤖🍻
Absolutely amazing flying and flow. I've just started getting into fpv and after watching just one of your videos, I know exactly who I want to be when I "grow up". You are an inspiration to improve. One question though: I've tried practising the "avoidance flick" in liftoff and just don't seem to really understand it. I tried looking closer at your stick movements at 0.25x speed and can't really decipher it (lack of experience). As far as I can tell, you yaw into the opposite direction you want to go while giving it throttle, and when you release throttle you pitch forward, but every "pillar avoidance flick" you do seem different. I know that for you it's muscle memory, and you just know perfectly how your quad reacts, but is there maybe a way you could explain how you do it so a neewb could try and learn it? Maybe even a whole tutorial dedicated to crash avoidance would be absolutely neat :D Fly on man, you rock.
Oh sweet man. Well tha KS for the awesome freestyle, I've learned alot more from a few weeks watching your videos than I have watching Rotor Riot for a year.
what you were saying starting at 2:57 made me more confident rolls and yaws are a big help at an unexpected time my first parking garage videos have no flow more scout flying on a shitty xm+ receiver broken antenna port (noob) loool
You don’t need to fly tight proxy spots to learn flow ! Practice in a field with trees and start shooting gaps and connecting stuff , From there it will come natural! Don’t go into it knowing your scared tell yourself you got it Or you will panic and yank on the stick to hard !
I learned, I can't do that.. Yet! That angled flick move, I'm still trying to figure out how to do that properly, looks simple enough but elusive at the same time. So are you putting the quad at angle, then jamming the sticks in the opposite direction?
Yes correct just need to get that muscle memory locked in ! Go to a park fly up high or use a tree if you feel confident and try to flick away from it ! Also go over your rolls and spins so you have no hesitation anymore ! The moral of this video is to learn your quad before you try to flow because it will help you get locked in 👊🏻
@@SlattFpv - Thank You! I think my roll rate is too slow, but then when i change it, my split s is off because i can't go full deflection and an xlite has a short throw! More stick time!
I fly pretty high rates , drib fly’s pretty slow rates so it’s doable on both sides I just feel my higher rates can help me guide where I need to go faster ! If you think alittle bit higher on your rates will help you just try it and leave them alone for a week. your brain will relearn and it will become natural again just might feel goofy at first ! Consistency is important so you can learn the muscle memory so make sure after to keep everything the same including everything on your drone
@@SlattFpv That is probably my biggest problem is having 8 quads that i fly all different frames, different motors, some are 4s some are 6s, but i make it work! I need to convert to one frame and set-up!
@@3eggerfpv397 yea I would convert 2 of the into the same as your favorite so you have 3 identical drones ! If your flying something that’s never consistent it’s going to be hard for you to naturally memorize everything ! I definitely recommend that I’ll probably touch base on that next video
