Yes, I just changed mine. It just need 1 gallon. You can't fill in one gallon one time, you need to fill 3-4 time, but fill to the Max level every time, once engine running, the level will down little bit and fill again, the total need one gallon.
Just did this yesterday.I didn't even need to jack up the car. You can reach the plug laying down on the ground in front of the vehicle.The only hard part was getting the plug loose. I ended up using some pliers to carefully loosen it. The other thing that you might want to do is use a shorter funnel than the one in the video. I used a cheap one with a 1 or 2 inch stem so that it just sat on top of the reservoir. It's much easier to top off when you run the engine because you can see the level of coolant through the top than through the opaque reservoir plastic or a 10 inch funnel.
If you're doing a proper flush you wanna drain all the old coolant, then decide if you wanna take the reservoir out to clean it, or poor distilled water into it, turn the car on, pump the heat so the heater core kicks on, run it through, do that a couple times until clear water comes out, then you can fill it with different or same coolant. If you decide to go with a different coolant I know the pink organic coolant can be used for hondas, just make sure it specifically says hondas and not just asian vehicles, and it'll last a couple thousand miles longer, but whatever you do, "DO NOT," mix different coolants you dont know what different chemical reactions you could be causing. Science man.
i checked the formula , mixtures that written on blue ( for honda ) and pink ( for toyota) were same , only difference was a color, i went with pink red because if its leaks its easy to see ..
no need , its take each drop out of from reservoir, or u can add little but new coolant while drain is open and this will clean everything or use water while your drain plug is opened , i was surprised when i opened the drain plug ..
between 80 thousand and 90 thousand KMs you must flush Coolant ,but as early as good , depends on your pocket , Honda and Toyota uses same non-silicate coolant .
This isn’t a flush, it’s a drain and fill. Roughly a third of the original coolant remains in the system unless you do a flush with a machine that pumps all of the coolant out of the system. Capacity is 1.65 gallons for the system.
Remove the bolt from the engine, drain all the coolant from the engine. Loosen the peacock on the radiator, drain the coolant from the radiator. Replace the oring on the bolt, tighten both of them and refill. Use blue coolant for Hondas not Toyota coolant.
@@user-yf4hv8vr3q my friend , this is not old school vehicle , the radiator drain plug is way down , which drain all , anyway if you drain coolant the way I did every 30K or so , you are good , no need to go too deep .
