How To : Fly a 3ch Helicopter 

Hi, just purchased a SYMA S107g in white, this is my 2nd one as the first one developed a fault with one of the motors so it wouldn't lift and fly(probably cos I crashed it loads of times trying to learn to fly it) but they are a lot of fun once you learn how to fly it, which is where your tutorial came in very useful, thanks!

Got a coaxial helicopter from a friend recently, somehow managed to get it wedged in the gap of a window. Ended up destroying the cog that rotates the lower blades. Recently purchased this exact model you are showing here. Can't wait to see how it flies in comparison to my destroyed model.

I never was able to get the thing to work properly years ago but will give it another try if I can get it charged. If not it does look good on a shelf..

So I was just curious how much did you pay for that helicopter was it over 50 bucks I bought one and I'm pretty sure it's the same one I paid almost $70

So I bought the exact same one, just yellow color online. I got it on sale in my currency and if I convert it to USD, it cost me about 12$. I've never properly flew an RC helicopter/drone before. I did fly my cousin's RC helicopter once but only for like 2 seconds because I crashed it. I've had a lot of experiences w RC cars so yeah. So when I first got this, I was pretty nervous. It's been a while since I used an RC so I decided to get familiar w the feeling of using an RC. I didn't want to fly my heli yet since I know once it's up in the air, I'd have no idea how to control it. So I decided to put the throttle just right so that it won't be lifted off the ground but still enough power for it to skid on the ground. I practised controlling it, like going forwards, backwards, left, forward left, etc. I practiced for a few hours. Then I decided I was confident enough to fly it. So I hovered it first for a few minutes. Then after that, I kept making this mistake. I adjusted the throttle to where it wants to fly but it's not strong enough to fly so the heli just keeps moving in every direction. So I did that for a while mostly because I was scared of it just zooming up fast and I'd lose control of it. So if I was lucky, it'd hover and wouldn't move much. But if I wasn't, it'd barely hover and move everywhere. I finally gain enough confidence to lift it up high in the air. After a few times trying, I realised that I needed to push the throttle to the max and when it's like mid height, I'd push the throttle down. But I pushed it up and down too much. When I pushed it up, I'd pushed it up too strong to where it was really close to hitting the ceiling. So I'd panic and push down but I'd push too much and it'd just fall to the floor. I finally figure out the balance. So I spent a few minutes adjusting the height. Making it go up in the air and down. I realised I just need to push the throttle to the max and half slowly push it down slightly. I decided to fly it around the room. I hit the curtains, the window, the closet, the door, the shelf, the bags, the bed, the chair, the wooden board, the refrigerator, the plastic bags, the ceiling, and the ceiling fan. The ceiling fan was off tho. My helicopter is perfectly fine but you can see some tiny dents/chips/scratches but nothing major. I learned how to fly it properly in just about a few hours, not even 10 hours. It's very easy to fly it and it's really durable. The price is reasonable and it's really easy to learn. I 100% recommend this if you're a beginner. Just remember that you can't play this outside, w the fan on, or w strong lighting. Strictly indoors w no breeze.

Thanks that info helps a lot,I did send for a tail rotor motor,there seems to be a lot of people who didn't have that info and are replaceing tail rotor motors ,that didn't need replaceing I hope they read this.

Helllo these i have a Phoenix AR-21 KZ999 Helicopter Series how long does it take to charge a helicopter. It is a 3.5 Channel. I can't get my Helicopter up it go's round and round on the floor.

I have a skyrunner 3.5 gyro helicopter no manual how do I charge it. Red light come on like it charging.also have a green. After red light stay on for awhile it goes off but green light never come on indicate that it charge. Copter will not fly as if its not charge. Whats wrong?

mine spins when i have the charger plugged into it but not with the remote. the remote has a red light not a green one. i put freshly charged rechargeable aa batteries in. also since i lost the original charger and i have a multi adapter what voltage should it be? has it gotta match the 3.7v of the battery?

Great video on how to fly this. Would be helpful to have a video on trouble shooting common problems. Mine worked fine for a while, but recently the heli and the controller don't communicate. The controller's green light continues blinking, and the controller does not seem to sync up with the heli. Any ideas would be helpful. Thank you.

I should had watched these videos before I purchased my helis lol .... my first cost $130 cause I figured they would be easier , it was huge so I crashed it and a red light started coming up they exchanged it and I hit it again they fly it so easy BUT I just can't .... then I bought a $30 one just like in this video which I must admit is a lot easier... they my friend gave me a quad which even easier but still doesn't hover in one place grrr always tilts a little bit ... I tried the setting but nothing and then my gf got me one ... they are ALL on display in my living room lol .... never learned .... someday I'll get back to it .... awesome videos bro

My control on the right is not a free spinning joy stick, it only goes left and right. The left joystick controls the height of my plane. And they say the right is the left and right and foward and backward. How do i control whether i want backward or foward or left or right

The bottom blades in mine don't spin at all and the whole copter just spins around on the table. Can't get any lift at all. Any advice would be greatly appreciated... Thumbs up on the tutorial by the way ; )

Man just got a rebranded version of this now but flying one of these is very hard compared to my multi-rotors and I fly racing quads on occasion . Theres only forward and back pitch and yaw is on the same stick . Would a 4 channel have more functions akin to my drones than a 3 channel?

I have a question. I started to hear strange noise from tail blade while flying forward or backward, what could it be? Also I can push balde up and down a little bit. Is it normal?

We have the G230.4 and it does not have the trim knob in the middle, but it does have right & left trim buttons. When we hover it, it tends to go backwards rather than remain stationary. When we apply forward torque it does not go forward but keeps slipping slowly backwards. Any ideas?

I have a new S5, but as soon as it gets off the ground, it moves sideways (nose pointing forward). I don't know how to stop it from crashing into the wall except to spin it around so that the tail points in the direction it is moving, and then push the direction lever forward. However, by that time it has so much momentum in its initial direction it has usually crashed. Can I adjust this?
