How to FLY HIGH using RIPTIDE TRIDENT and ELYTRA | Minecraft 

You can achieve a similar effect by being in ANY water, and charge your trident and and shoot your trident double tap space bar and after you shoot double tap as FAST as possible, With enough practice you can go REALLY high, and even without prefect timing it still makes you go substantially higher with rockets. But if you are absolutely horrible at doing double tapping space bar quick enough, This technique in the video is good. Amazing tutorial

You can Just put one water bucket down and collect it right after, thats enough

For bedrock you just make a water podium and when you click jump at the right time you get the trident zoom and elytra glide but you get more air distance

you dont need to do all this. just use your trident while in water (can be only one block deep) and spam space to activate the elytra while still in the water

Jastin Co You can just make a (any block) five block high or how high you want, jump then activate your elytra right after you jump, then use fireworks, but remember you just need the flight duration firework or else you will explode while you are flying

Why can't you just stand in the ocean / river and trident upwards, then when falling activate the elytra. Then repeat the trident shot except now with the elytra activated?

im sorry, but like you can easily go to like y 230 just on sea level, y 63 just throw your trident 40 degreesish up when your hitbox (on your feet which you can see with f3+b), just throw it when you are barely touching the water, like your hitbox is only a tiny bit in the water, and it should be "silent" and not do damage but go very high and fast

I recently discovered this phenomenon and after some testing, I came to the conclusion that: - You need to be only standing in one block of water (being fully submerged causes riptide to shoot a good fraction less). - Like others have said, you don't need to double tap space; just try to press space immediately after using the trident-the sooner, the better. - The optimal angle I've found is 35 degrees above the horizon (or -35 as the second number of the "Facing" section in the F3 menu). - You can gain around 145 blocks of height if done near optimally. I wish I could do more rigorous testing and get some graphs but what I've got is already enough for me. Edit: Forgor to mention: I tested this in Java Edition in 1.19.4
