We love Cedar Point! We haven't made the flight yet as we are normally traveling with the marching band over there, but I can't wait to make a flight out of it someday.

Can I ask you a question I am 48 yrs old and thinking seriously about getting my pilots license . Some say I am bat shit crazy at my age . Well at 46 we shifted gears and I upgraded my cdl to a class a and my wife got her cdl and we are owner op over the road truck drivers. We live in SC and getting a load home is real pain. So we are considering me getting a pilot license and buying a plane . So we can leave our truck at our main hub in Springfield Mo . And just fly home . For memories and more quality time with family. My dad was a pilot in the Air Force and flew as a instructor and civil air patrol in the 70s . Until he died .A month before I was born . He also was crop dusting at 13 amazingly enough . Any ways I have always wanted to do this . Do you think at my age that it’s to late in life . I think it’s the perfect time . Midlife crisis and all lol .thx

today is the perfect day to start towards you goal! You can totally do this if you have the time to dedicate towards getting you PPL & IFR rating (highly recommended for your stated mission). Look at fractional ownership or a partnership that gets you into a plane to accomplish your goals, don't waste time renting if you can avoid it, it will slow you down. Sorry to hear about your dad, you should be proud of his service, I can relate, check out our latest series the "Mad Duck Chronicles".

How many times have you done this? What’s a rough estimate of the %cost increase for park tickets since you started? Are they replacing top thrill dragster?

probably close to 15 times, starting in 2005, and then almost every year until about 2020. You were on at least 2 of those! Most of this video shot was on our trip last year but I never got around to editing the footage. some of the footage is from 2016-ish and was one of the first flying videos I every made. we've come along way I'd say!
