Great video! I wish that you would put together some more detailed info for applying the Feed the Cats principles for basketball. While the energy demands are slightly different in basketball, I believe that many of the basic principles still apply. Building fast, explosive athletes is the foundation of success in both football and basketball!

This is exactly how Usain Bolt trained. It's an energy system. He also loved soccer, maybe more than sprinting. When he retired from the track he turned to soccer but didn't have the metabolic gear for soccer and gassed out too easily.

Yes. He spent many years training anaerobically.

Did he gas out or was his tactical skill far below his technical and physical levels?

"you can become aerobically fit without doing continuous aerobic work" ... staying toward the alactic end of anaerobic arena - like 6/10sec bouts, more Pcr/mTOR drive, I think is also important.
