The Distilled Man I do man! :D My favorite fold is the Straight Fold! I like it because it is simple and easy to do. But next, I'd go to the One-Point, Three Stairs and finally the Puff (in order of preference, hehe). They are all amazing! But I guess there are a lot more then these, right? These are the "most popular", I suppose... Also, I downloaded the cheat sheet, I'm gonna print for future consults! Btw, I'm gonna apply one of these folds tonight in a party of a friend!! Thank you Kyle, keep up with the awesome tips :D
Very good. Thanks. But what do think of the idea that the pocket square should match the *shirt* and no the tie? (And what about those pre-folded squares!?)
Thanks! I think matching the shirt can work as well--absolutely. And sometimes that ends up being more subtle. Ugh, I hate the pre-folded squares! It's not that hard to fold a real pocket square, and it gives you so many more options.
+Izaiah Laureano, yes you can. Just read the tag to make sure you're using the right heat setting for the fabric. And for silk, you'll probably want to lay another piece of cloth over the pocket square when you iron it. Good luck!
+Mark Oglesby When I fold my pocket squares I set the fold with an iron. Once the square is folded I then iron the whole thing flat. Bear in mind that only really works for a few folds, and not all of them.
holy shit...this is much harder than it looks! I think it might be because i have a quite cheap handkerchief, my suit is rather expensive, but the pocketsquare won't stay in place and slips all over the place! So annoying!

What about the gentleman aspect of the pocket square, you know at the funeral or wedding when the lady next to you doesn't have a hanky to dab a tear and the gentleman can offer his pocket square?
Great question, Anne! There's a difference between a handkerchief and a pocket square. The pocket square is more of an accessory for show, and the handkerchief is for nose-blowing and tear-dabbing. But you're right, I should do a video around handkerchiefs. thanks for the suggestion!
