i work in a shop and trust me, it can be done !! ofc not everyone will fold it as slow as in this tutorial, but once you get the hang of it it’s totally easy :D
Hello Ms. Marica, among the tips that you shared of folding a shirt. Which one is the standard that most VM for apparel is using.? Is it right to fold the edge of the shirt overlapping on the middle, so that once customer hold the item it will not fall or crumple easily.
Hello Piwee, thanks for your question, sorry it took me so long to reply! Well, there are so many different way to fold a T-shirt, most of the time it depend a lot of how many tees (quantity) are you gonna expose on display, if you want to show the print on the tee or some detail. I think there is not one standard rule that fits all the tees universally but it always depends. Also consider that merchandise exposed is meant to be touched and "messed up" buy customer, so is not realistic to hope a display will last all day long the way it is, actually is what we all should hope because it means that the display and product are attracting a lot of attention :)
I see! I’m aware of my grammar and pronunciation mistakes in English, after all I’m italian and learnt English while living abroad. I was wondering a couple of things: 1) how many languages do you speak ( with mistakes) but good enough to explain a concept; 2) how this comment and observation can be useful to people who wants to learn about visual merchandising? In my opinion is more relevant to share knowledge than be perfect in second language pronunciation - especially when the language is NOT the topic of this channel. But what I know... I mean, I just paying rent and bills and food and clothes and holidays for me and for my 2 kids thanks to my visual merchandising knowledge spread with the inability to pronounce the H! Also teaching in universities and masters in both Italian and English, also gathering community on different social media like RU-vid, Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest. And all abut myself, the one unable to pronounce H! So, one last question: What can you do despite your inabilities? Please let me know ASAP
