I yelled at my wife "26 minutes to fold a origami dachshund?!?" She replied "dachshunds are very complicated in all aspects of life". So I shut up and folded away
Awesome video! I haven't done any origami in maybe 16 years, and this was a little challenging. I had to pause several times to get things right, but it turned out incredible. My son loved it.
Well, it is a bit difficult to see sometimes because your fingers are in the way, but I did get it after replaying those parts about five times. In the end, mine tore while trying to backfold the feet. I'll give it another try.
first I missed or they didn't tell you what size you start with...anyway they gave very good instructions and it was nice to watch. I hope I can make one now :) over all it was interesting and well done!!
While the pacing of this video is nice, there's a major flaw in this strategy - please stop to show the impact of your fold, with your fingers _out of the way_ before doing another fold. I can't follow what you're doing with your fingers in the way. I'm sure it's a charming daschund model for those who can intuit what's happening behind your fingers!
I thought this video was very well done. I used regular white copy paper, which got to be too thick towards the end. Origami paper would probably be a lot easier to fold. I had to start, stop, and repeat a lot, but I got it done!
excellent video ! thank you so much for explaining this so patiently, this was my first attempt at origami and i am hooked ! you are a wonderful ambassador of the art !
