For this idiots bellow that thinks Tadashi Mori and Jo Nakashima were the creators of this origami. The guy in this video is the actual creator, only took him 24 mins to do so.
Thank you so much for sharing the tutorial with us! This is an incredible dragon. It took three years of preparation to fold it but I did it after all) So thanks again, this is amazing!
I love the method you use in the beginning of the video compared to the diagram n_n i find it so much faster to do and it doesn't make the paper extremely weak in one spot. Thanks for showing us your secret techniques ;D keep up the great work sir!
This is a great video - it keeps me working out the harder bits for myself and I can learn the craft better that way. Thank you. What paper are you using here?
Hello! Thanks a lot for the tutorial. I'm beggining in the world of origami. I don't know what path to follow, but I'd like to get to understand and use crase patterns. I'm starting now, but I can do this model already. What tould you recommend me to study? Any books in particular? Thanks!
cuz he makes the models neat than everybody and also the tuts and also he explains everything very well about how to fold and the paper and from where to get it (somtimes) and also he made his fiery dragon look more fiery
My one is a little bit broken, but I did it😄Is so cool and soo beautiful! Is a Little bit hard. I need to watch slow motion to do this. Thanks for teaching me how to do this very hard dragon🥰you did a good job👍
believe it or not i made all the three fiery dragon versions of youtube and i think this is the best (wich is obvious since he created it) , i can't believe the fast he is and the paper is very cool
If you - like me - dislike the two spikes sticking out halfway down the tail, there is a very clean way to lock them down: When doing the reverse folds that narrow the tail, skip the last two and instead fold the extra paper down into the layers. The spikes will be locked in place and the folded edge can be easily adjusted to blend in with the pleats.
I made one. The model made by me looks awesome , a little different in the tail ( my tail is thin at body and little fat in middle as compared to the tail near body )Anyway .....Great work sir Thank you
If I had to guess it looks like some kind of tissue foil type of thing. The reason I think so is because at 2:45 you can see what looks like a slight tear on the (brown) tissue side and the other color is visible underneath. What exactly the beautiful gold layer is is very hard to say; it does not seem to behave like foil. That said, I folded this model with a small square of printer paper, and had no trouble, so use whatever you like.
Guys stop hating Kade Chan designed this if it wasn't for him jonakashima wouldn't have even made a tutorial if you don't like him don't watch the video!!!
Sir, please provide all relevant detail information viz. size of paper, quality of paper on video so that everyone can appreciate your knowledge. Thanks
Hi you are an amazing origami creator! I come from Poland. Can I record this dragon's tutorial on my channel? Of course, I will say that you are the creator of this amazing model :)
got to love the "how big is the paper?" questions. its square. diagonals from corner to corner. make it any size you like just has to be quare. Protip ;D
The paper he is using looks like gold tissue foil paper. There are many types of paper, you can even use copy paper for some of the simpler stuff, definitely not this though. I would recommend tissue foil paper for this model at least 30cm x 30cm or 11in x 11in. Hope this helps.
if this is confusing Jo Nakashima's video is much slower and easier to understand, plus he includes the actual instructions. I finished my dragon with his video.
What are you talking bout m8? This guy right here's the actual creator of this fine project, which by any means this IS the actual instruction, those done by Jo and Tadashi were modified. Tadashi Mori and Jo Nakashima even gave him credit.
Chris Far What he is talking about is the fact that Kade is making the folds far too quickly for an average folder. Jo Nakashima makes the folds slowly so one can see what he is doing. Dplepwned never claimed Jo Nakashima as the creator, he simply stated that this video is confusing and way too fast.
joabat1 Kade Chan's a pro though, he could do whatever he wants with his own creation, Tadashi and Jo's instructions were meant to be slow, detailed, and a bit modified because people nowadays bitch about everything they find wrong. I made mine using this instruction.
Sorry to cause any confusion, I just found Jo's video much easier to understand for beginners. I just wanted to give someone who just saw this video and thought that it was cool the chance to actually make it. I don't mean to discredit Kade, he is definitely very very skilled.
