I’m not surprised that someone finally found something good about the slopes in this game. I had only encountered detrimental buggy behaviour on slopes, but it was just a matter of time until it could be exploited by players. Good job! And thank you

My favorite part of the sandwich system is that it was clearly designed around touch controls... But someone at Gamefreak said, "nah touch controls are too hard to program" Despite the fact that Pokemon has been on the DS and 3DS with touch controls for YEARS...

I used a similar method on a cave where bagon spawn outta wall and I actually got two shiny bagon (quick tip) (if you save before making said sandwich and don’t get a shiny you can reset you game and it’ll go back to before the sandwich was made make the same sandwich again and you have another chance at getting a shiny I did this and that’s how I got the bagons)

You can have a little of a zoom effect with the camera by choosing the fish eye lens option. It's the one right after the regular one.

I got mine during an outbreak, I just kept repeating, 'little green bat' over and over to and he and he nearly blended into the grass but I got him. Other shinies I just randomly stumbled upon like a shiny Psyduck and Crogunk while wandering about.

I wish I knew about this when shiny hunting both of my charcadet. So much more convenient than running laps around a hill and hoping to not miss one pixel of blue. Yeah I did that twice, what can I say other than I'm a sucker for punishment

Honestly, I did both type of hunt for charcadet and even though you can’t miss any by not moving. Running laps is way more efficient because you can see way more of them. I did 3 or 4 sandwich with no luck by standing still but I got 1 for each sandwich ( I wanted 3, one charcadet and the 2 evos) when running laps next to the Pokémon center. I find it also less frustrating than standing still. Anyway charcadet shiny is the worst but we all want it…

It’s hard to do this when you spend no time actually showing where we need to stand, plus in your game it’s dark and raining and the marks on the ground can’t be seen if the time and weather doesn’t match.

Around the spot in levincia where you can hunt kirlia there’s a small beach, hopping in the water around the middle and going back despawns all the Pokémon but when you go back while still in the water the beach Pokémon spawn allowing for you to hunt sandyghast, mareanie, slowpoke, nacli and wiglet quickly

FYI. I do not know for certain, but with 1.01 or 1.02 patch stopped the Mankey spawn Edit- I tried Rockruff it worked, and got Garnacl at area zero. Charcadet works as well. Did the 1 cucumber 4 pickles spicy and sour twice. Got 2 shiny mudrales. Guess they pay attention

Oh my god, I don't yet have my shiny charm so I was really not expecting it! Lucky you! 🍀 I’ve been trying mesuda ( all week no luck ) and picnic ( for this whole day no luck) And it’s kinda pissing me off I’m a little impatient lol I’d rather use PLA for shiny hunts since I had more luck in that game having a whole box of shinies I’ve found through mass outbreaks •-• But on of my outbreaks half of them were inside a gosh darn mountain so I decided not to try to find a shiny there because if one spawned inside a mountain I wouldn’t be able to get it at all… but I am just waiting for Pokémon home now … My shiny luck in Pokémon violet is 🗑️ I hope it’s better in my scarlet copy I wanna cry now 😢

"You want to stand very specifically where I'm stood" Doesn't open map, doesn't zoom in on location, doesn't give any indicators or landmarks on where you want to position yourself, spends less than 15 seconds on it through the entire video. And then the location seemingly only works this well or "properly" with Noibat when you suggested a lot of other 'mons would work the same there, notably Hawlucha which anyone who has attempted this method knows does not work nearly as flawlessly. Methinks someone was talking out their keester and rushing out a video without proper testing and planning. Second location in the guide works much better, but was taken from another creator. At least you properly credited them I suppose.

Yes! Outside Northern Medali, on the map it looks like an oval shape. Zorua will be disguised and even if the zorua is shiny, it's disguise wont be. Pop a Dark type sandwich and hunt during the day and just R button all the mons and eventually you'll get 1. Also, Zorua will ALWAYS disguise itself as the biggest type of mon, so just R target all the mons and once your mon wont attack, that's your shiny.

@RageGamingVideos I'd like to add to the "most efficient" ways to the get Encounter 3 sandwich, with the exception of Sweet + Sour combo. First: You do not need 3 of the type matching ingredients to get the type for Sparkling, Title and Encounter to be what you want, simply just have it be the majority of the ingredients, which is really useful for the more bulky ingredients such as tofu. Second: You do not need cucumber and pickle to make it work, simply just pick total of 5 ingredients of the ones listed for types, while making sure to follow my first point Third: The reason why Sweet and Sour Herba Mystica combo doesn't work, along with why 2 sweet or 2 sour herbs do not work is due having the 2 most prominent flavors being Sour and Sweet gives bonus 100 points to Catching Power, and since all of the ingredients that give 21 Encounter Power per slot also give 14 Catching Power, it'll simply result in giving Catching Power 3 instead of Encounter 3. Fourth: You can actually use 2x Sweet and 2x Sour herbs for the types that "seemingly" do not work by playing around with the ingredients in a way that their most prominent flavor becomes either Spicy, Bitter or Salty. Fifth: if using just total of 5 toppings, you cannot let any of them fall off, but if you're unsure about your sandwich stacking skills, you can give yourself some leeway by adding 6th one, allowing you to drop upto 3 toppings, outside of hamburger since it counts as 3 ingredients in itself. also, I'd appreciate if you could spread this knowledge, along with adding each types own ingredients taste profiles into 1 place to allow people to know how to make Encounter 3 Sandwiches and have them understand why some combinations work and other don't.

we are exploiting the bonuses of ingredients to get the effects we want so the recipes are incredibly ugly. the actual recipes the game has... are also not so appetizing in most circumstances, idk why they added strawberry, pineapple, yogurt, and grape jam in a sandwich and just expect us to act like that's a normal thing.

So I was at a picnic trying to complete the Pokédex I was beating up scatterbug and then a white pokemon popped up I thought it was a pokemon I didn’t catch yet so I walked up to it and engaged in a battle it was shiny SCATTERBUG! the crazy thing was this was so early game I didn’t have Mirai Don YET!

Once I found the spawn I got my Mankey in about 8 minutes. I had so much Sandwich time left I went down to Area Zero and used the remaining time to get a shiny Iron Hands!!! Two in sandwich thanks to you!

I'm assuming he only tested it for Noibat but also saw Hawlucha and Riolu/Lucario spawning in the area and just went ahead and assumed that it would work the same way for those 'mons if you had a corresponding sandwich buff going, which isn't the case in practice. A+ for finding a nice and easy Noibat forcespawn location, F for misinformation otherwise.

Before i got my shiny charm, i found 5 Pokemon shiny, marill, litleo, drifblim, forretress, and revavroom. Only 3 out the 5 were outbreaks.i simply used a lv2 sandwich since herba mystica are hard to farm alone. Best tips are to save when you get to the outbreak, make the sandwich if you can then just farm. If results are bad, reset.

Bro it’s not that hard. Before you make the sandwich line yourself up closer to the left to the ledge. Match the ledge with your character to the video I did that and low and behold the mankey were spawning in quick and a lot. Got mine on the 3rd picnic reset
