Back in the forge! So what kind of stock did you use in forging this flint striker? I had an example of a high carbon striker that was too hard. It looked good, it threw sparks, but it broke into two pieces after only a few uses. Not really sure how it broke, I found it that way in my fire kit pouch. It sure is nice of you to make that nice lady a striker for her to use at the nature center. I bet your email is gonna fill up pretty quickly with orders on this limited run. Smoky this is spring steel the reason they break is because you Quenched it to hot in water first cool it in oil for 30 seconds and then finish it off in water
