Overall a good and useful video but... 1. Why didn't you build a wall with the opening and slide it into place? 2. I would have put a level on the sides of the top of the opening to be sure it was true 3. I thought the top of the opening was framed with the wood running perpendicular to the studs below, meaning the 2x4s or 2x6s face you, not down.

Thank you for sharing. I know that you want to go quickly for the video, but you were pretty shaky with the gun. Especially when you were pointing it at your friends face to nail the top of the frame. Keep making videos, and we will watch them. Even if they are a bit slower, and more safe.

I would say, if you’re gonna spend your time making a video about framing interior doors, keep it “I’m talking to an amateur diy’er” simple; and they you want them to not screw up the things most people screw up. For instance, the frame opening needs to be 2 inches wider than the measurement of the actual door width and height. That’s a very general and simple statement that doesn’t confuse anyone. I was lost right after you explained the width and height mystery measurements. We can see you’re really smart and very good at what you do. However, you just explained how to frame a door to a novice you just hired and are trying to get him/her up to speed; and assuming they have done General framing before. Not the brave DIYer that goes to RU-vid to get a simplified set of instructions. I watched the video cause it was good to just to see another person frame a door opening. Didn’t pay attention to the instructions, cause they were so vague. Thanks for the upload. Great video! 👍🏽

Yeah I'm seeing a lot of "good enough" here. My ocd is going nuts. If this guy framed a house you would need a mud guy to come in and go nuts to make walls appear straight.

2x4's should not lay flat for a header. I would sandwich a peace of 1/2" plywood between two 2x4's and stand on side.

yeah - fast doesn't equal quality ......nailing boards that are not backed or supported - sliding on the concrete floor left and right ? hilarious ! crappy fast american job , and judging by the spark on the left side header you know that quick nailing hit the concrete floor - wood doesn't give sparks :-)
