Last year I froze them and they were a huge clump. I followed this video and now they are perfect to add a few to my smoothies in the morning. You saved me. I love it!
Yes I generally freeze them in a clump but was in m&s yesterday and bought some they were all separate and decided to do this when my berries from the allotment are ripe so thank you for the tips.
I would think you would want to thaw them at least a little bit for measurement purposes. If they were frozen hard vs soft I think they would take up more room in the measuring cup.
