How to Freeze Credit Report in 5 Minutes [Easy Online Steps] 

Just wonderful, I been tryin to find out about "credit repair report services" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Fanrayson Creditor Indemnization - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my neighbour got cool success with it.

As of today the credit freeze on all 4 credit agencies are free. You may want to do a update video.

I know, right?! I don't think people are really ready for how bad identity theft and hacking is going to be over the next few years. And there's not much you can do about it since many are overseas, except just freezing your credit.

Thanks Benjamin. Not the first time someone has tried to rub my head for luck. I'm lovin' the debt payoff series of videos and really hope it helps some people out. I used a credit monitoring service for years, paying hundreds of dollars, before I figured out how easy it was to freeze credit reports.

Only thing you can do is visit each of 3 credit bureau websites, look for 'freeze/unfreeze' credit and go through the process

Thanks JJ. Definitely a long-term solution to identity theft and hacking. I have friends that have had their credit frozen for years and don't have to worry about it.

Watch out for Experian. If you do it online, you are stuck getting their membership. I don't want the membership, but you can't get anyone on the phone, so you're stuck.

Thanks Ken. The credit monitoring industry makes billions. Wish more people know how to freeze a credit report, could save a lot of people money.

It's something a few of the bureaus have been experimenting with, mostly off and on.

Don't lock, on freeze. Locking allows the credit bureaus to continue selling your information. It also removes their liability if your information is stolen. Always freeze.

Check each of your three credit reports to see where the charges show up and contact each bureau to dispute the charge.

Yeah, I was surprised when I found out how effective it was to freeze a credit report and how it actually protected from identity theft instead of just monitoring your credit.

You can apply for credit instantly after unfreezing your credit report. If you plan on applying for a loan within 24 hours, I would call the credit bureau to make sure the un-freeze is applied but it's almost always automatic.

I was wondering also on the CapOne hack but it only affected less than 1% of the customers so I think you'll be ok.

@@josephhogue one percent is still a large number, plus they've been trying to play it off rather then being honest, so can't be too sure.

I hear the citi double cash is no longer offering 1% off purchases plus another 1% when you pay the bill. Many have gotten letters saying this 2% offer is ending soon. Not sure if you read the fine print but you may want to. Just a heads up as I also was considering this card. I have a capital one card and they say anyone affected will get a letter in the mail with a offer of free credit monitoring.

Not sure what number you called but all the info in the video is direct to the credit bureaus. You don't need any other services to freeze your credit, just go straight to the credit agencies.

Freezing your credit doesn't hurt your score. There's something else going on that's hitting your FICO...and learn how to spell advice.

@@josephhogue they can't explain to me why it dropped. The only thing that changed,. A credit freeze. Also, I have recently paid off a 17500 loan over 3 years and my credit remains at 699. My brother with no job and no credit cards has a 760 credit score. This whole credit bureau nonsense is just complete bullshit with no rhyme or reason how they come up with their scores. If you inquire about a loan it takes a 40 to 50pt hit. If you pay off a loan, nothing.

blue03r6 I’ve had my credit frozen for a few years. My credit score has never dropped!

More proof is now that I unfroze with all 3 companies to buy a house it went back to 740. Also noticed what lenders say my credit is from TransUnion ( their letter States this is who they used to check my credit)is 60pts lower than what trans Union tells me my credit is.

Best to do it with all three. Basically, scammers can take out a loan and if the approval comes from unlocked report then could go through
