It would be nice if in the future you could move the head completely into the frame. Somewhat it felt a bit hard to look at in the beginning, because your hands where so far up. I think it would be nice if it would be more centered. Besides that, very nice video. Clear explanation and not to quick. You have a lovely voice. Thanks for the video

O.m.g. you have no idea! I have never been able to do a French braid, even after 37 years of failed attempts on my own hair. I've had a daughter for 3 years and have lived with the mom guilt of not being able to do one for her. I've watched dozens of videos on RU-vid to no avail. Taking the strand from one side into the middle then pulling a “horizontal” section from the corresponding side into the middle with that strand then repeating on the other side...that just makes so much more sense then taking a chunk of hair with you when putting one strand into the middle. I don’t know why I always had it explained to me so wacky. Thank you!

This has really helped me. I have curly hair, so not much need to french braid,so I never learned. I now have a daughter with straight hair and am learning how to style straight hair, along with french braids. THANK YOU! I know this video is old, but I can do a regular braid, French twists, even a fishtail, but have NEVER been able to French braid! And with this video I was able to finally do it and even on the 1st try. It wasn't perfect, but I can now out my child's LONG curly hair into a French braid so it doesn't get all tangled when he sleeps.

Once I can get my hands to cooperate to make a braid, this helped me to understand that all I need to do is keep adding the extra hair to the middle section of the braid pattern.

I have watched bunch of vids but I am glad that you made the vid on a dummy because many people were making french tail on them selves and mostly there hands were shown while they were braiding themselves. Thank you it helped me very much
