Thanks for the tutorial! I can’t wait to try it! I’m a beginner at park and street skating and I was wondering, in your opinion is it easier to start out learning stalls and slides on a ledge or on a mini or bowl?
It really depends on what you are already comfortable with. If you are comfortable pumping forward and backward in a bowl/ramp, maybe try stalling in the bowl first. If you are already comfortable jumping on and off the ledge, you could start there. You could also practice on the ledge by stepping up or using a helping hand. I think it may be easier in the bowl for many, because when you are comfortable pumping, you will just ride the ramp all the way up to the coping and stall- without needing to jump. It is a preference, and it is good to envision yourself doing both to see what feels more your speed.
