Thanks for the tutorial! I am having a hard time staying on my lead foot, what happens is that I land on the front foot but then I automatically start sliding onto my back foot. Is this because I am edging too hard into the take off causing me to send my momentum way over the feature?
Thank you! I ran out of contacts, and money to buy them haha. But I’ve learned how to keep my eyes shut as much as safely possible. This will get sorted soon👍
The angle you approach from can be determined by the setup carve, or just do what feels best at first. But for a more consistent lock on the rail, keep it more parallel. For slipping on your toes, bend your knees more!
Ok mate, another question. Once I got it solid like 9/10 times on a street style flat tube, how do I take that to a thinner down rail confidently? Just send it?
Take what you know from the tube, and apply it to the street rail. It should feel fairly similar. The main difference is you have less surface area under your feet. You can still hit the inside of the rail same as the tube. But mostly just gotta scare yourself on that first attempt. After that you’ll know what to expect.
