I learned a trick recently when doing acylic blanks and maybe it'll help with this process as well. You could try to lay the tattoo face up on the table and place the cup down on the image so you can see where the tattoo will be. Just a thought;)
The way you made this cup.... I have little words besides WAAAOOO, BEAUTIFUL, GORGEOUS... I cant find better words... You did an amazing job. Like you said in the video, the way it blended, spectacular... I am for sure aware that the true beauty of this cup, we cant even see it at its full glory... But i know its gorgeous. Bravooo, standing ovasion... 😘😘
You are awesome & that cup is gorgeous!!! I saw a video of an arm sleeve tattoo being done on a 20oz tumbler but my customer wants a 30oz. I've been super nervous (& excited) to try but as I'm about to do it I decided to just see if I can find any videos for tips on how to make it work on a 30oz. I found your video & I just love you! Lol. I had the same idea in mind on how I was going to attempt it but you confirmed that it is possible, can look good & you have the same techniques that I had planned to try, so you helped give me a little boost of confidence & I so appreciate that!
Awww 🥰 you are soooo sweet! Thank you so much! Please tag me when you re create it, I can’t wait to see and I am overly joyed that I have been able to help inspire you! ❤️❤️
I have had this tattoo for a hot minute trying to figure out how I wanted to put it on a cup TY for this video it turned out BEAUTIFUL!! Now to make mine lol
I’m so in love with this tumbler! I have the same tattoo sleeve and i’ve been waiting to use it. I loved the glitter you put down first. I thought about using a bluish, but I love yours! So badass!
I get so lost watching these videos!!! I haven't made 1 tumbler. I'm just so fascinated. I keep telling myself I'll make myself one. Your other video makes me want a graffiti tumbler one day.
Kimberly Scott Awwww. Don’t be scared. Jump right in. I’m never concerned about not liking a cup, bc I will strip it. Lolol That’s the blessing with cups.
Hi Rebecca...quick question. I think I heard you say in another video you "DONT SAND" the tumblers before you paint, and that you can put the temp tatoo over a bare tumbler. I just want to make sure before I start my tumbler if that is correct. I watch ALL your videos 💖and I subscribed a few weeks ago. Thankyou👍 in advance Cheers☕ Ontario Canada. Stay safe😷 but party hard (with the tumblers )😉
Ohhh I’m so sorry I’m just now seeing this, yes I epoxy the tumbler before applying the tattoo as for sanding it’s on a need only basis. For example, if I use a sublimation tumbler I’ll sand the glossy off first, when I do glitter I sand in only the sections that require it, I will also sand the top rim for my epoxy to adhere other then that, it’s a no for me. Lol
I am very sorry for my delayed response, Its actually very smooth though you can feel the tattoo of course, but it should feel smooth prior to applying any epoxy.
I apologize for my delayed response, If I do I wait until the tattoo is completely dry and then I will use my weeding pen to poke at the air pocket to release any air.
My question...after you prepped your cup, you did the glitter. I'm assuming there is a coat of epoxy over glitter. Do you sand this before placing tattoo?
Yes their is a coat of epoxy on the holographic and no sanding is necessary after the coat of epoxy as the holographic is very smooth before and after epoxy. ❤️
Thank you so much, No its not necessary to seal after the tattoo, also Im sorry for my delayed response I had no idea I was missing comments until recently.

I'm new to doing these tumblers, I love watching your videos and I've already done the crackle paint, the wood grain look with the cow waterslide. These "tatoo" cups look awesome. Can you tell me what I search on Amazon to find them?

Does anyone know if you have to clear coat over the tattoo before applying epoxy? Do you use the tack it method on the glitter? Absolutely beautiful job. Thank you.
@@RebeccaEscott Thank you soo much.I've been clear coating everyone and noticed on a few vids no one mentioned doing so. I absolutely love your videos. thank you for sharing.
Johnette Rojas I did epoxy, I didn’t want to risk chipping the holographic glitter, now on my glow in the dark tutorial I didn’t have to epoxy or seal. ❤️ Thank you so much.
Alicia Powers If you are asking about the cartoon pic of me I have the link from Etsy in my description, I can’t recall the name like moon something lol
Could you tell me if there is a way to remove a tattoo from a tumbler? I placed this same tattoo on a swirled glittered cup and you cannot see it. I have not sealed the tattoo yet hopefully there is away to remove it with out striping my cup! thank you for any help and I love the way ur cup turned out I love it
Amanda Seiber Thank you so much, was your tumbler epoxied prior to applying the tattoo? If so you might be able to use rubbing alcohol or small amount of acetone to remove the tattoo.
@@RebeccaEscott yes it was epoxied before adding the tattoo thank you for taking the time to answer my question. I am going to try alcohol first hopefully it will work good. thank you
@@RebeccaEscott Thank you so very much for replying. I placed an order yesterday with Glitzy Girl but they were out of Cinderella. I did get the Diamond so fingers crossed :-)
@@RebeccaEscott Thank you so very much for replying. I did place an order with Glitzy Girl yesterday but they were out of Cinderella. I bought the Diamond so fingers crossed :-)
Thank you so much, yes it makes it easier instead of doing what some call a hangman method. So the epoxy is self leveling so its important to make sure it turns.
So if you can't get the image on water transfer paper can't you just remove the clear film from the tattoo paper and plastic dip over it let it dry then place it in the water and remove it so the image sticks to the clear plastic dip instead
@@RebeccaEscott Yeah I guess experiments are always the best thing to do.. I ordered like 5 extra of the same image to try different processes so the image does not have to be faced down and be backwards so hopefully remov in the clear film and clear paint over the image and letting dry will allow it to come off the white backing face up instead
Yes, I mute myself when I fast forward and then resume myself when I stop the fast forwarding. Thank you so much for mentioning this in case it could have been a mishap.
Do you mean adding the Cinderella Glitter using the Tack it method directly to the stainless steel tumbler? If so yes, I would love to. If I have misunderstood you please let me know.
What do you do after you let the tattoo dry? Can you epoxy right over it? Or do I have to seal it somehow first? I absolutely LOVED watching your video.
Hello, I have a question, I’m a newbie, so after you put all the tattoo sleeve on, did you seal coat it with a sealer if so how many coats? Then you epoxy it???
Do you have to use epoxy to seal it? I had a horrible reaction to epoxy after using it for 8 months and now I am sensitive to all epoxy as well as other things. I love these but need another way to seal if there is any.
I've heard a lot of ppl say their is a no epoxy route, but to be honest with you, Im not sure what they are using if anything. Im sorry you are unable to use epoxy, If you dont use epoxy or another source to seal it will eventually come off over time.
Could you tell me where you found the tumbler holder to where the cup doesn’t move around when you apply vinyl. Also, Is that purple tumbler the same Cinderella color glitter & did you spray paint it the purple color 1st? If so, what spray paint do you use? Thank you
The tumbler holder in the video, my son made for me. The glitter holographic tumbler is called Dark Purple from Glitzy Girl Glitter (Use Coupon Code Rescott2020) I also did spray paint the purple one, I don't recall the exact color that I used, Im sorry for not having that exact answer, however any purple that's semi dark would work.
