I love GemsFlow! I wish it had a few more fields, but I put total Drills count and Artist in the comments section. I love adding the drill colors information, and I track all my specialty drills in the colors section. So, if I have a specific DMC that I'd like to change, I can go to colors and search by DMC number or color name and find out what I have that best matches the original color in the painting.

A Long Journey home actually has 51 colors. On dac site it says 48 colors & 3 abs. So it’s 51 colors. Just so ya know. I also put with the name of my painting I put by and Artist name. Just what I do. BTW quit wearing your hat 🧢 inside 🤣💙💚

Wow Shay. I've never heard of this, it's great...and customs with previews? Was there an option for round or square drills on those? I've been working on putting all the 30x40s I've done videos on but never worked on, in a portfolio and storing the drills in a separate box with labels on them. I like that I can thumb through, see what the images are and choose a project to work on according to how much confetti/multiplacing or what color or theme they are..but the rest of my canvases from DAC, Craftibly, DIYMOONSHOP, Dreamer Designs and others are way too large for that. I have no idea how many I have but this is SO PERFECT. Thanks so much for telling us about it and showing how easy it is to catalog them. I'm terrible at technology but I think even I could do this!! 😂

I love this app, just wish “Kitted” was a choice of status. I actual have my canvases,drills, and kits in numbered bins that I put in the notes section so I can find them easily. Love the filter feature, you can filter on almost anything.

I love this app, Shay. The filters are amazing, and you can query your app (for example how many paintings did I complete between January and June). I have as much fun playing in the app as I do kitting up and kitting down, etc. I agree with the other commenter, “kitted up”would be a good status. The app developers are very responsive. I’ve gifted kits that I hadn’t opened, and wrote to the developers suggesting a status for that, and the response was “in an upcoming app update you will have the option to customize statuses”!

Using this app. I keep track of the cost in order to price the finished work when and if I sell it. I just put where I got the DP and skip the URL. You'll also have to manually change the status to started on the drop down. Just adding a start date won't update that status. The app helps me have a mental grip on my stash . . . that it is ginormous and I really don't need to buy another one until 2025. 😁😁😁💜💜💜

What a cool video idea, Shay! I really like this app. Having all of the kits in my stash on the app has really helped curb my purchasing. I haven’t utilized the colors tab before but after seeing your video I am now going to go through all of my drills and enter them into the app as well. It will be great when I don’t have to search for the colors I have, I can just look on the app. I am curious though, I want to hear your final stash number! No judgment. 😊😉 ~ Kel

I have the app but haven’t fully used it but started to load my stash and like you dragged my feet. But I have built a spreadsheet sheet of all my orders from the different companies by using their histories for me. I think you could use the colors section for all the coordinated ABs you have. I love the idea of the ap but with limited time these days would rather DP. Just need to block the time. Maybe you will be my inspiration/motivation

I just started using this app. I number my paintings in my paper log book, so to have the number show up, I put it first of the title name and then they show up in number order, when not filtered.

omg you are awesome and i ware a hat indoors too mainly when i work! it keeps my hair out of my face and under control oh and sweat out of my eyes ! i cant use a lot of hair products they make me brake out! and berets damage my fine hair and head bands dont stay put! as for this app thing im not a tech type person so thank you for sharing the info so we can get a sneak peek!

OMG!! Walked with you, thru the steps, as i am new to Diamond Painting, now i have my 3 completed, and also put on, my DAC, Mountain Castle, which i am at the moment working on! The app is cool. I am a bit overwhelmed, however. My stash is ridiculous. Thanks for giving permission to not have to fill in every detail. I’m going to try to catalogue everything. It’s fun to do. But I kind of don’t want to know how many I have in my stash. I’m a little embarrassed 😞

I love this App and all the features it offers. For anyone new to using it, my biggest piece of advice is to make sure they create an account. It will let you add paintings without doing so but then if you have to replace your phone for any reason or have your child accidentally delete your app (🙋🏽‍♀️) you’ll loose all the info.

I'm glad you've gotten 'plugged in'. I use the app to make sure that I don't have more in my stash than I have completed. Right now they are both slightly above 100. It took a while to put them all in, but it was definitely worth it. I put the artists name after DAC. I definitely use the other dates, too. I just wish they had a donated category

I mostly definitely use this program. I also set project colors to match the ledger. And I use the more project images for a copy of the ledger or any extra pictures. You did awesome on the video. Thank you

I just started using this a couple of months ago. It was a bitch to get it all in there, but now it’s easy for as I go. I like seeing everything and knowing for sure what I have. I also keep a paper log as well. I’m glad I put in the effort to get the app up and going.

I love having all my stuff in this app. A little bit of work to initially get all my stuff in there, but easy to keep up, once you do. Another thing that I like, and that you can do, when you are on the main projects page of all your entries that you have done so far, is click on the “hamburger” in the upper right hand side, and it will make your images and entries larger, instead of the lines and smaller image that you are seeing now. I love the larger images.

Go to set project colors and when you go to the blank screen, click the button in the bottom right hand corner. Then enter your colors of your diamond painting.

Definitely use this app to track my stash. Also; when I start a painting I add all my colors in it to its details, so I know what colors/dmcs the kit was. Let me know if you want me to show you how/what I mean 💕
