divide your percentage by 100 and multiply by 4 (for a 4 point scale) Eg: your percentage is 80 that means 80/100 whole multiplied by 4 and that will be 3.2 and that's your gpa on a 4.0 scale
@@Soumyaawasthi097 divide your percentage by 9.5 suppose your percentage is 90 , divide it by 9.5 and you'll get 9.47 and that's your gpa on a 10.0 scale
@Harnoor Singh, Can you ask her if she thought of changing her school from CBSE to IB and what are her views on it also should a Gujarat board student in class 10 now change the school from Gujarat board to IB or CBSE(for better grades and better profile )?
It's better to shift to CBSE because of a few reasons: 1) the universities are very aware of the CBSE curriculum, so you need not convert your marks to GPA ,they will take care of it. 2) you might have more students who want to study abroad in CBSE schools, and even a guidance counselor in your school. So they will help you in the application process more..
If you could shift to IB, the coursework difference will be very large and there will be a lot of dip in marks... So be careful with that. Otherwise IB is the best when it comes to study abroad
