A student will, however, be allowed to pursue Honours in the second degree programme only if he/she pursues Honours in the degree programme which he/she was originally enrolled in, that is, a student may pursue either Honours in both degrees or only Honours in the first degree and non-Honours in the second degree. Pursuing Honours is subject to meeting the requisite qualifications. I found this in nus website about double degree can u explain it pls?
if you take the example of economics, if you do bsc honours economics, you can do msc honours economics. You can’t do Msc honours economics without doing bsc honours economics. Thus you have to do both honours or just bsc in honours. You can’t directly do Msc honours without bsc honours. Hope this helps 😭

Hi I would like to know that my brother is currently in grade 12 and studing pcm with cs and he want to pursue his bachelor's in Singapore in the field of computer science and business major . Like I can give you a rough view of his grades class 9 -92%, class 10 92%, class 11- 80% and he is expecting to get like above 94% in grade 12 . And he is having quite good extracurricular also related to his major and he has been the part of school council for 2 years and has took part in some hackathon. So can you help or give your thought that does he have any chance of getting into NTU And can he apply this year also or he has to wait for the next .
Yes, he has quite a chance of getting in. 95+ would be safer side NTU doesn't look at extracurriculars unless you have medals in International Olympiads. Good marks in 12th boards are enough to get admission here. And double degree in business and cs is the hardest to get in

As tge internet states that it is very competitive and is hard to get into ntu...so how come one can get through the selection process with only our board marks(>95%) ... As of you what else other that your board marks made you to get through.??

Their main focus is on 12th scores I think so 10th marks won't matter much. Yep, you can apply as a gap year student as well It takes just 2 weeks to get you passport, so even if you apply now you'll get it before application deadline
Approx 1 month is left in board exams . If I will tell my parents regarding this then definitely they are going to say that focus on exam and all, they will not be ready to make passport as of now.
