The method in this video will allow you to use almost 700% more protean logs per hour albeit at a lower experience per log. I did this method on Fresh Start Worlds and managed to get top 100, one thing i will say is that if you dont have proteans, you can go to burth and go to the tree by the rabbits, this will almost be the perfect amount of space for 27 logs, then you surge/bladed dive back to the tree after banking, super quick!

I figured out the desert method by counting the tiles.....and everywhere else that I could think of so yeah that was a nightmare about 2 years ago.

I had 14.3m firemaking xp/hour with yak track 20% boost, fm brawlers, dxp on fm, cinder cores, relic, clan avatar, proteans, valentine slam and coin and sticks, afking in deep wildy at the mage bank on a brazier

I did my fm at priff from one side to the other. Some people respected it but a few I copped abuse from lol

yo can you make a video about what graphics settings you use and what your pc specs are? i got 12400f and 3060ti and the game stutters a lot, it struggles to maintain 75 fps 99% vsync on. It seems like your game is pretty damn smooth and it looks good

one little thing people might not know. you don't have to set your familiar left click to take BOB. You can also drag the take BOB icon from the familiar interface onto the action bar. Both work fine but i prefer the specific icon my action bar

protoxx please consider making video about ways "how to" or what are most effective ways heal/restore your hp while pvm it might seems silly for veteran players but hear me out i am casual player i know that there is soul split but i simply dont have time or feels like next couple of months every time i play to grind quests... but also what are the ways how to stay longer on task or just training with limited amount of slots for food potions etc. its not only about healing maybe way to restore prayer points without potions so i can use protection etc. hope you get where i am going :D thx have good one

Why isn't there just a "minigame" called massive bonfire where you come with 5-10k logs (maybe more if unlocked through repeated bonfires), add them to a large pit, light it, and then come back in a real life week and gain all the xp + a chest of like charms/noted ashes/some runes etc what you would have gotten from fire spirits? It could be a giant thing, give a constant bonfire buff while lit, etc every week you partake in it. Even at reduced rates. No one is passionate about firemaking and turning to from a "lets burn our money and waste time" to a "lets do something cool and get a neat buff and in the end get a reward chest like many other abilities" would probably help log price, incentivize those to go to 200m/over 200m firemaking for the buff creating a good log market. The buff could also be changed by the amount of firelighters you use on it, which could further help the clue doers and stimulate the economy without adding any new items. Even cooler, while lit, why not have a special kill-able boss with a new drop table, or a constantly good drop table like Bork be killable only while the massive bonfire is lit? Now your helping out pvmers also. This could even be done in the Wilderness at the new upcoming forts. A massive light, a new boss ,a loot chest, no hours wasted on firemaking at all, a global buff - whats not to love?

Thanks for this video. I have been very vocal, that we need a new FM guide. This is something close to this, adding your video about last years fm and fletching update and a lot is covered. Here are a few notes/additions (my main is close to 200m fm and my FSW account was rang 30 in fm): - XP in desert with proteans can be even higher, I was able to get 5m xp/h without dxp (but all other possible boosts including bomb, which is close to dxp in total) - Don't use your brawling gloves for line fm with pitch can. Instead use that pitch can to burn your porteans way faster at a portable station next to mage bank. That way you get waaaay more xp from your brawling gloves, also its afk and you will use up your brawling gloves in maybe an hour instead of 15min. IMO way more efficent even when slower -watch another video about the minigame where you can fill up your pitch can. It's honestly good xp, very easy, you get a pitch can every 3-4 hours and no costs. So it's not only good for refilling, but also a nice training method (but you should watch another video on that :D) -Pitch cans are trading for more than ge mid price or price named in this video. Full pitch cans are selling for about 30-40m, empty ones for 25m or more. But even then not to often -Pitch cans are also a great thing to have for bonfire fm training. you burn a log in 4 instead of 5 ticks. one pitch can has 2000 charges and you can refill a full pitch can in about 7minutes (while getting decent fm xp) in the minigame

I don’t understand how this method gets you 120 in a day? If you’re burning 5000 logs/hr, say you’re getting 500 xp per elder log with boosts, 24 hours of this only gets you 60m xp. Are you saying that you can do it during double xp to get 120 in a day or what?
