Thunderbolt is awesome. Being able to walk up to a monitor, and have a high-resolution display out, gigabit ethernet, USB, and up to 100W of power using just a single USB-c cable is amazing.

ConnectPro UDP-12AP - seems the only one to be able to satisfy all my requirements. Didn't receive it yet. Santa will bring it :)

@@tomazzaman Any feedback on the kvm and by extension the process of shipping it to the eu? Have been looking around for one for a very long time and had eventually settled on a level1techs model, but this looks very tempting as an alternative.

The only thing that bothers me immensely with that switch is the fact it lacks EDID.

the hardware looks sexy, and that's where the good part ends. People saying "it gets out of their way" are delusional. Every time I tried using something iShit I get the feeling like the device is trying to protect me from myself. Want to have a custom OS on your phone, well fuck you. Want to sideload an app that's not in the store, well fuck you. Want to publish an app on the store, pay us and be prepared to wait months for approval (assuming you even get one LOL). Want to do some basic thing, well guess what, time to go to settings to allow 10 different permissions and type your password 5 times to do so. Want to repair your device, and you even have original parts? Well fuck you because everything has a serial number and won't work properly unless you pay us 5x as much to do it for you. That looks like getting in your way, not out of your way.

Oh man! You are on fire! Do you know about Level1Techs and Wendell? He have made his own KVM, that suppose to be one of the best in a biz. When I think about it, when the router is finished he would probably happily review it to million of geeks on his channels.

I have. The only problem I have with Level1Techs' KVM switch is the fact it doesn't have an EDID emulator.
