When applying murray's dip your finger in the jar rub the grease in the palm of your hands, the more you rub your hands the more heat you make ,which will make the grease easier to work with rub the grease in front, back & sides .if need be dip back in the jar and get another dabb apply that front ,sides & back then take a washrag let it sit in hot water or run hot water over the rag .don't have the water so hot that you can't pick up the rag ,ring the water out the rag .you want the steam or hot rag to soften the grease. rinse rag out get it warm again and wipe excess grease out of head .then brush hair , if little white grease balls form as you brush your hair .go back and do your hot rag method .then comb out excess grease apply hot rag then brush & lay it down with du-rag . I don't know how often you wash you hair .murray's is to train the hair to lay down . I don't know how often you brush .so I will say if you wash you hair every 2 weeks you should be dipping in that jar twice a month .Before every brush session apply something like blue magic ,hot rag method brush & lay it down
How is the hold compared to regular Murray's?? I love the hold when I'm first starting my waves. Almost everyday for 3 months. Cause my hair is so coarse and natural products just leave my hair so dry except ones for low porosity. When I'm using all natural products I still use murrays light or the army color dax can. And always oils
Great video bro. I strictly use Murray’s for my crown and/or help straight out forks and it’s the mini can of Murray’s lol. Haven’t actually used it on my entire waves since 7th or 8th grade cause like you said, there’s better alternatives out but it definitely works
Word of advice to all that want to use the Murrays and feel it is too thick... Put about a quarter size amount in your palm then add a few drops of your favorite or regular use hair oil to it... Rub it together to combine the two... Then apply it to your hair... It will completely soften the murrays up... It actually tells you to do that on the container...

Can you Make a video about natural products you can use for waves I have been waving since about last a little after winter but I mostly just wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner ever so often and brush I don’t really put stuff in my hair when I normally have a brush session sometimes I use all natural leave in conditioner so my hair is moisturized

I've only ever used Murray's. I like to use it when I have an afro mostly and brush in a "360" motivation n just to get my afro wavy. Royal crown is a good product too. Or is crown Royal? Anyway all the old heads used it for them groovy waves.
It’s not bad, but you don’t want to keep it on all the time because you want to give your hair time to breath as well as allowing your curls to decompress

Ive been using Murrays for 15 yrs, with no problems at all!! I don't use it everyday tho....i use it every 2-3 days....my girl uses it too and her hair is down her Back...
