That is true he had all the information in 10 minutes usually clickbaiters will have 20 mins so they can get more money but this guy is a true humble pokemon trainer
You can also find, although a rare chance, wild squirtle in cerulean city. Up the nugget bridge to the right going towards bill. The first patch of grass behind the big hiker trainer I found 2 squirtle there randomly. Upvote so others can know
I’ve literally picked this game up 3 days ago and smashed it out even beat Red, it’s one of the best Pokémon games I’ve ever played and boat loads of fun I can’t understand why it gets so much hate , I adore it
Thank you! I somehow lost my gift Charmander at some point in my game, and found one really easily on route 4 with your help. On my second lure, as soon as I activated it a tiny Charmander appeared! Great videos.
Pikachu/Eevee: starter Pikachu:viridian forest Eevee : watch the video Charmander:cerulean city Bulbasaur :cerulean city Squirtle:go to vermilion city and talk to officer jenny You're welcome
@@Ubu90 Yah go mine from Viridian Forest. But just curious about the whole IV thing. The ones that are given to you in the cities. Does those have better IV stats?
I love how all the gift starters manage to reference their anime episodes with so little. The bulbubasaur being injured is a nice reference to the hidden village that specialized in healing injured pokemon. Charmander had a bad trainer who abandoned it, and the troublesome Squirtle is obviously meant to imply he's from the Squirtle Squad. Nice touch.
I remember when I used to watch your Breath of the Wild videos. I'm really glad that you're still up and making high quality content, thank you for all of the tips and insight.
I got really lucky too, the first pokémon i encountered was Bulbasaur and i saw it 2 seconds after i entered the forest. I also found 3 Clefables at the same time in Mt.Moon.
Only cought 2 Clefables tho. I also finally got Chansey and Onix. And i ended up catching Bulbasaur too. (And Pikachu, found it 4 minutes after Bulbasaur.)
I didn't realize how rare it was finding someone who talked so clearly to the point without too much fluff until I started watching your videos. Usually, I give at least one eye roll, but not here.
The original Pokémon were so great. I played until the 4th gen and I felt they were all good regions. Don’t play anymore but I like coming back and watching videos on how it is now
I was on a combo of about 40 Growlithe and I saw probably 6 Charmander just on my way through Rock Tunnel, so getting a combo (even of a different Pokemon) definitely increases rare spawn rates!
you can find squirtle in the patch of grass to the right of gift charmander in eevee version at the very least. got mine there before I had the gift squirtle.
You can also find wild Charmander right before Mt Moon on route 3 and wild Squirtle right above Cerulean city where the gift Charmander is. Route 24/25.
Your the best Pokemon RU-vidr in my opinion because your editing is great and you never click bait even though the titles feel like it cause your so good with everything. Keep up the good work and you’ll hit 1 mill in no time
I actually just found a Squirtle on Route 24 in the small patches of grass directly below where you get the gift Charmander so you can actually catch one rather early on!
Loved this video. I will definitely use this if I ever get a switch and copy of one of the games. I also love the intro, love to see them knowing you put alot of time into them.
Yeah, i dont like not being able to battle other pokemon but atleast i dont have to worry about them fainting. But grinding became much more expensive now.
You can find them all in the wild. Pikachu and Bulbasaur can be found in Viridian Forest but there are rare. Eevee is the last starter that you can get. It can be found on Pokèmon Road/Route 17. Charmander is found can be found on Route 4 and Rock Tunnel. Squirtle can we found in Seafome islands and the route where Bill’s house is. (I forgot the Route number)
i found every single one of these (except Bulbasaur) within 5 mins of me being in the area, not even searching. when searching for Bulbasaur, it took a while, i gave up hope and while running through to get out, 2 spawned at the same time.
North and west of Cerulean.. there is a small patch of grass on the other side of the bridge. Using a lure, you have a very small but random chance of encountering a Squirtle Pokémon. And then there is a path just north of the bridge going east past Cerulean city, where (using a lure) you have a very small but random chance of encountering a Squirtle. Granted the chance is very slim.. but if you have a lure active.. there's a very small chance you'll be able to find one.
You can get to the seafoam islands earlier than that. 4 badges, maybe even 3 badges. Do the game corner, go through Pokemon tower and get the flute. After that you are free to travel to Fuchsia. there's nothing forcing you to do Silph Co, beat Koga, and if I'm right even Erika before heading to seafoam islands. I've caught both Articuno and Zapdos without beating Silph co or Koga.
There's another place for Squirtle besides Seafoam Island. Go past Nugget Bridge and roam around the small grass patch next to the hedge maze and it'll spawn there too
6:20 I found a shiny charmander in this spot. I had been recently farming chancee’s and I had an 100 chain so the first Pokemon to spawn on this grass patch was always the rarest (charmander). There’s another grass patch across further left that can also house charmander. Fly from one area to the next every time a charmander spawns and it’s easy
I don’t know if anyone else noticed this already but I just noticed that all the Pokémons that are gifted by NPC( Charmander, Bulbasaur, squitle, Arcanine or even the $500 magikarp ) will always have 1 best 2 fantastic and 3 good IVs.
Should probably say that the partner Pokemon are much stronger than regular Pikachu and Eevee are if you catch them in the wild, not just the IVs but the base stats are higher
From what I can tell, you can get at least one Charmander or Squirtle to show up in their respective areas by chaining another Pokémon in that zone. Like after chaining 13 pysducks in the like grass patch to the left of the nugget bridge, I got two squirtles to show simultaneously. Thus was repeatable and, from what I can tell, it increased their low spawn rate dramatically compared to just being in those areas for equal amounts of time. Not a perfect way to chain starters, but it might help start a chain at least.
You can also catch a squirtel on route 25 in the patch of grass on the hill behind the hiker trainer and after the trainer that gives you the charmander it takes about 15 mins per squirtel from what ive seen
