In this Canva tutorial for beginners, learn how to generate a free logo using Canva's AI Dalle app integration.
Larger companies are able to hire a designer for a logo, but if you need a logo for one of your small projects, AI can be a great, resourceful way for startups to get started with a placeholder logo in the meantime before hiring a designer down the road.
It can even help with brainstorming!

I wish I could import vectors consistently so I could edit colors. PDFs don’t work well. SVG isn’t available. How else can this be done?

Hello! If you're looking to the edit colors of vectors, here are some things you can do: -Import an SVG file - it's kind of hidden, but after uploading an SVG to the Canva library like you would an image, you can edit the colors of the vector by selecting it, clicking "Edit image," going to the "Adjust" tab (next to effects), then scrolling way down until you find the section that says "Color edit." From there, it will show you the colors used in the vector, which you can edit from that area. -Not sure if you need this, but cool to know in case you ever want to save a file as an SVG: you can also save a Canva file as an SVG (if needed) by going to "Share-->Download" and selecting "SVG" (but keep in mind a Pro account is required for this).

Hello! Thank you. I was using Canva Pro, however, I believe you can also utilize this feature on the free plan - though there is a limit on the number of uses. So each prompt really counts on the free plan.
