There honestly needs to be a lot more highschoolers like her. People who aren't afraid of the judgemental aspect that may come from other students who for some reason find it odd to spend free time helping others. 👏🏼👍🏼💯

One tip. For any question that mentions brasilia Brazil, the answer most likely has to do with forward capitals. Brasilia has almost no other notable characteristics so if they give u brasilia and a bunch other cities you’ve never heard of, chances r those cities are all forward capitals. Just so,etching I figured out during all our exam review tests.

for anyone currently taking the test, i used the packet in this video and got a 4, highly recommend especially given the fact i didn't study a month before the test. huge props!

I passed with a 3, and all I gotta say is, it's just a bunch of memorization. City models are really important to learn, and you learn that later in the year I believe.

This will be a big help for studying for the exam! This is my first year taking an AP class and I was a little nervous about the exam and how to prepare for it. Thanks for the tips!

This couse was my entrance to the AP World. I took it as a freshman and managed to get a 5. I loved the course which was mostly due to my teacher I had for the course. I took my AP Gov Exam recently and would compare the difficultly to the AP Human Geography. For future sophomores that are planning on taking AP Biology, please know that the course is much more difficult than either previously mentioned. AP Bio is nothing to sleep on and hit you hard if your not ready. If you had lots of trouble in AP Human Geography, consider taking AP Bio at a later year when you are more mature as a scholarly student. AP Statistics isn't that bad but it does require a decent amount of remembering specific formulas and proper wording. My AP Stats teacher assigned a lot of homework (about 1 and a half every night) so be cautious and plan your schedule accordingly. Anything issue I ran into was taking lots of AP courses in the same year/semester. I took all of the previously mentioned AP couses in the same year(except for AP Human Geography), and I won't lie...it was a pretty stressful year. Since pretty much all the test are around the same time, preparing for one often means less to no studying for your other ones. Regardless of some sleepless nights and stress, I can't thank my AP classes enough for the chance to truly challenge my abilities and for all the benefits they can provide me for the future. To all those still reading, I hope my quick breakdown of some of the AP courses I've taken have informed you and hopefully motivated you to pursue other AP courses in your futures. And to the freshmen taking AP Human Geography as their introduction to the AP world, (I have a soft spot for you guys), I wish you the best of luck...I'm sure you'll do great and good luck studying!

Is ap human geo a hard class for you? For me its a difficult class because its hard to remember all of the terms, and I keep getting bad grades on the practice tests. This is my first year taking an ap class for this type of subject and i dont know if ill be able to get at least a 3 or 4 on the ap test.

Tysm this taught me more about preparing for the exam than my teacher has taught me more about human geography all year

The day is tomorrow. I have not started studying because I just got discharged from the hospital. I’ll do my best tomorrow and hopefully update everyone on my score in July! [Edit]: Okay, I just finished the exam and it wasn’t bad at all! The multiple choice was difficult because of the word choice and arrangement, but there were a few I knew and could put together. The FRQ’s, surprisingly, were simple and you could put it together. There was one difficult one but after you thought about it, it all came to your head. I only studied one night and I think I did alright in the end. Good luck to everyone that is taking it/will take it! Score: (waiting until July, I hope to get it on my birthday 😂) [Edit]: Hey, so I got my score on July 9th and I didn’t do well. :( I wish I got the stateside exam because that one was much easier than the one here. Oh well, it was my first AP exam and I hope to do better next school year.

Weird, I actually found that website and purchased the Princeton review book before you posted this video. I guess great minds think alike :D. I agree that they are both awesome materials. For the urban geography test I literally just read the book and got 100%.

Im a freshman who just took the ap test for my ap spanish a week before I went through the prep book literally the exact question I worked on in class was on the written portion of the test and similar questions from the book were on there so I kinda figured that the APHG would also be that way....nope. She was right about how a litterally nothing from notes in class helped me and I bombed it. I had no time to go over the review book but now I am to fix my grade for that class and I wish I had done it before the test because the concepts from the chapter I skipped over was the frq in the test. Long story short im positive I bombed that test and you should definitely use the prep book like just know the prep book and your flash cards and you'll be fine.

My tips is to write as much as you can. I got a 5 off of that
