Looks so easy , and it’s funny how all of these cats in these videos are so calm and behaved, meanwhile my Bengal cat rips me to shreds with scratches and bites.. Definitely not cooperative like this little guy 😅
My cat was exactly this well behaved when the vet gave him his pill. When I tried the same at home, all hell broke loose and I had to abort the mission.
I have an idea. Every once in a while just do this same thing but with a treat. Then when it comes time, let her sniff the medicine with a treat in front of it or just a treat and then quickly switch to the medicine. ❤
I was trying to do this today and both of my cats did not open their jaw. Both were pressing their jaw so hard that I could not open their mouth whatsoever.
Definitely not my cat. She'll be scratching and biting you if try to put a pill in her mouth. Thats if she doesn't escape and hide first. Sadly this may hasten her death. Her pills are for her heart disease and they are to control the fluid build up in her lungs. They are also for her hypertension. She also spits out her liquid medication. It may be time to call it quits for her.
To the people who made this video: This video is truly hilarious! Do you honestly believe a cat would sit there as calm as a sleeping toad while you "just pop" a pill down it's throat? You must have either drugged the cat, or, you trained the cat over 100 times how to let you grab his head and stick your finger down his throat! Any living cat is NOT going to just sit there and let you do whatever you want to him or her. For starters, my cat would have jumped off that table long before you turned around to give him that pill. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This was NOT the first pill.... The first pill had to be a horse dose of something that made the cat chill, if not an im shot. When you try this at home, remember to call 911 for yourself an hour before.
I am trying to give a tablet with milk sweet. She licks normal sweet and smells this mixture of deworming tablet and sweet and identified difference that it is a mixture content with another one is a normal/usual sweet and licking it but ignored the mixture. At that moment i thought that a researchers should discover a tablet that a cat or any pet could not able to identify that it is a tablet/medicine/drug.😂😂 Edit: trying since 3 days😂
I tried this method once after (and i call this false advertising)... well, after a plethora of failed attempts and spitting all over the floor (had no idea cats were capable of producing that much spit), i finally got her to consume the pill by crushing it and mixing it in with loads of her favorite paste snack🤦♀️
Every video is of a easy going cat. Say you have a cat that bites you when u give him his pill. Blood drawn each time. He took pill pockets 2 days then forget it. One day I tried he fought me today he ripped up but he got the pill. What do I do tomorrow
There is no way my cat will open up his mouth to get the pill in this drill and others... the idea of me getting his teeth in my thumb... was just to instinctively scarry.
i had a girlfriend who was the master at this. today i had to do it without her, so i found this clip. i cheated, though, and smeared it with cat food.
