Thanks for watching💖 if it’s a cruise ship job you will have to move eventually to join the ship when you start work. If it’s a land based job the company will sponsor your work visa then you move there for work. But if it’s remote then you can work from home✨ So this depends on the job that you’ll like to have

my friend in Jamaica worked for the cruise ships for 15 years and he really enjoyed it. You don't have living expenses and it allows you to save money quite quickly

Hey usually you only get the STCW after getting the job then they'll tell you all the documents you need to get.

Unfortunately no there isn’t, I used to do my own hair or ask a friend to do my braids or something when they get time. Sometimes when we go out in ports like Jamaica we would go to the salon to do our hair.

Hey Shanty if they asked you to do your medicals, that means you’ll be getting a contract soon…your agent probably has a proposal waiting for you. My sister said with her it took 2-3 weeks and once they see that you have your medicals ready and all the other documents they can even call you earlier😊

Hey most agencies say no couples because its hard to give them a cabin together unless they're married. so what you guys can do is apply for the same company then request to go on the same ship that's the easiest way to go about it. if you apply to an agency then apply separately then request.

Hey yes you can, just save your money then buy a house or build when you get home. A lot of my friends where telling me that they’re saving to buy a house(they worked in the spa and entertainment department) so yeah it’s definitely possible💖

Yes anyone is welcome to apply, but just keep in mind that on cruise ships you work every single day so you won’t have must time to study and stuff but I’ve seen a few people do that and it seemed to be working for them. Just be ready for all of that💖💯

Hey, in order to work on a cruise ship you need to be at least 21 years or older. But I heard some cruise lines have things like internships for people under 21🌸

I've been working for Disney Cruise Line for over a year and a half, and I've met quite a few people(probably 6 to 7) who where between 18 and 21, especially in the Entertainment department.

@@poorboy2400 i think everyone has different experiences…But for me I feel like it was a good experience, when it comes to crew life I had a lot of fun. When it comes to work, it was a lot of work but I had a good team so that made things better. So I think the people you work with contribute to the experience but keep in mind that onboard new people come every week so you have to get used to people coming and going.

This isn’t relevant to the topic. I currently applying for roles on a cruise ship and trying to imagine what my lifestyle would be like, Do you mind me asking when you find time to wash your hair? I’m black to i’m worried I’d never have time to wash my hair, do a leave in conditioner. Get it cornrolled ect.😂

Hey my love😊 Good luck with your application process. Cruise ship lifestyle is very busy so its a-lot of hard work but you also get to have fun, so its a work hard play harder situation. I have natural hair usually i go on the ship with braids then after a while i take em off and wash my hair usually do this after work and dinner so i would wash it around 10pm and do all the leave in conditioners and stuff. then maybe after a few days ask my friend to braid my hair again or do it outside in port. (Hope this gives you an idea) 🌸
