After listening to this, I realised that I'm gonna be single forever and that's why I shall find my happiness from a different source, not women, because I'm never getting them. This dating game is too complex for me and it breaks my internal code. I simply can't be the one who has to win a girl over, no, if she wants me she has to earn me not the other way around.
The issue is not "is she interested ?". The question is more : "is she worth my investment ?" (will she remain interested or is she following her mood of the moment ?) Seems to me that girls largely don't want to really flirt . They do it so vaguely & indirectly that, if a male (who doesn't happen to be a mind reader) is wrong about what she's doing (whatever it is) being flirting, even if it actually was, she still can deny that she was doing anything to come on to him. Women/girls need to be more direct, definite & clear about their own convictions. Otherwise, a guy will just assume she can't be relied upon to express how she really feels.

The trick is to not play her games and just be you. Flirt if you want to flirt, be physical if you want to be physical, joke if you want to joke. They will know the "real" you eventually so there's no point trying to please her in the short term unless your only goal is to sleep with her in which case fake it till you make it.

But now that I am 43 I am so very skeptical when it comes to dating women. Women always say one thing they want but they actually mean the opposite. I have learned that I do have some control over whether I'm friend zoned or not. If she keeps calling me"friend," then I keep clarifying that I'm not her friend. And if we're going out, it's not as a friend but as a date. And if we have too much to drink and I shouldn't drive home and ended up staying the night, then I'm not sleeping on your couch, I'm sleeping in the bed with her. If she keeps telling me "no," then I would rather leave than sleep on couch. I might not be in yet but I'm also not in the friend zone. That means there's still a chance.

I can't demonstrate my good points when they won't even engage in a conversation. I almost feel like I want to give them a "resume", a small card they can read in private explaining why I would be worth dating since I am never given the opportunity to "sell" myself with a regular conversation. It's a strange idea, but I don't know what else I can do when I can't get more than a "hi" in return for my “hi” before they turn and leave. If the reason is that I am not attractive enough for the ones I am interested in, then it looks like I will be single for the rest of my life.
Usually people on YT give so random advises and this is essentially no different. You know I actually done some of these things by accident and wonder why it worked. For example my ex and me were friends for a year after dating talking almost every day because our classes would be in same direction. She kept talking to other guys couldnt really do anything about that. I'd wait until she was single and ask her out but she kindly reject and say I'm not looking to date right now. But I always went to dances and danced with other girls. She happened to go to one and seen me having a good time and went up to me and pulled my hand and dance with me bumping and grinding. Her guy friend she was with said something like "we have to dance before the night is over" and she was like "ok". She stopped with me and talked to one of girls while sort of dancing slowly but I want to keep dancing and just put my hands on her hips from behind pulled her close and started to match her rhythm and she just went with not even questioning it while talking to her girl friends. I guess she was familiar with my touch and knew it was me. We danced all nighg together and she never danced with that other guy. I guess I didn't seem needy because I suppose she knew I would have found someone else to freak dance, but she knew I wanted her.

Thanks, that means a lot. I honestly just never put myself out there. I just go to work and back and then feel depressed when I can't match on dating apps. It makes me feel sad because I actually feel like I could cherish someone and make them feel loved, but maybe I'm just selfish about the entire construct of a relationship. @@Transgenderismisamentalillness don’t worry about not getting matches on dating apps. They’re an algorithm, and there’s certain rules you can do that would instantly give success. A few of the girls in our group helped the lads in the group, and they went from have 0-1 matches every week or two to having a few a week. As for not having much experience, it’s ok. Many people feel the same, and some girls would be going through the same thing as you. I went to an all guys school for 12 years, and didn’t have much experience, but talking to others I realised how there were girls who done the same. Covid also doesn’t help. Just set small goals for yourself, make small steps, and reward yourself when you’ve reached them. It shouldn’t necessarily be about the end goal, but more so the experience you’ve had along the way. Take it slow, and you should be ok.

2:01 This isn't true. I think for guys before learning about attraction it's actually quite the opposite. They tend to think that they can do exactly what you're saying.. And we learn through through learning attraction and dating skills that women decide within 2 seconds whether a guy will ever have any chance with them. And of course this isn't written in stone but that's what most dating coaches teach, and it's only at this time that we feel the need to get attraction immediately or it's just no hope. But before learning anything at all, the #1 tactic of guys is to be as nice as possible and win her over over time. They think that over time it will just happen. And then at a certain time their feelings get just too overwhelming that's when they "profess their love" and freak the girl out who's blindsided by her friend who acted like he only wanted to be her friend suddenly telling her how he feels, and we all know where that leads.
Take this women's advice and before you know it, you're gonna be friendzoned in every universe possible. The more time you spent on talking, being a "friend" (but you want that girl to be your GF) the bigger are the chances that the same girl is never gonna look at you as BF material, thus, the friendzone awaits you.

The best advice I can give you it to be as manly as possible. Don’t try to be ‘friends’ with the girl. Make moves early and let them know what you are thinking about them. It’s very difficult to find people in this life that you have truly strong connections with. Do your best and don’t have any regrets. I hate myself for my past.
