Hi, nice video. I totally agree with you Murad The color of your passport does matter. Europeans / westerners are been given more preference over Asians. 2nd point is Referral helps a lot , its like 80 percent of ur interview is cleared if u have been referred by someone. 3rd. If you are reaching out a recruitment agency, make sure you don't pay them any amount that's again a total waste of money and time. They would ask you for registration fee of 300 aed or so and then a months salary .. My advice kindly ignore and keep on applying all by your self online ( at least from the hundreds of applications u may still have a chance of getting one interview call). Most of the job portal posts are dummy posts, they post vacancy only for the name sake to show it on the records that companies are hiring (utter crap). Fact is that position already gets filled by internal referral... that's the irony so.. my advice is do not have high hopes with online job platforms just keep on applying for jobs every days not less than 100 to 300 jobs. And good luck to all the Job hunters in Dubai Including me. :) Can you make a video on how to apply on LinkedIn*
Not necessarily. The company you are hired by, makes all the difference. I have worked for 5 years there on a south Asian Passport with top pay package you would aspire for. The difference: My company was a multi national organisation with regional headquarters in Dubai. My advice: Try to work for such companies and they will treat you right.
Which is also why i don't understand why asians whether indians, philipinos, etc want to work in Dubai at all. It is a freakin racist and feudal country beneath all the sykscrapers. You will NEVER be granted permanent residency EVER and you will be treated no different that modern day slaves.
I didn't know about the dummy posts you mentioned....... That's sad... I'm down to my last month....i just wanna go back... I'm depleted off my whole energy levels i had when i came here
One of the things I also learned is that many companies used to take Passport of the candidates. My cousin has a bad experience of this. One of the construction companies has taken his passport and they also make him start the work. But neither they have given him offer letter nor processed his Visa. He has worked for almost 1 month and every time they are having one or the other excuse for giving him the offer letter. Please I request the recruiters don't play with the emotions of the people. He has lost 1 month bcoz of this. Finally he had collected his passport which he got in the evening after waiting to collect it since morning 9.
Thanks Murrad, I am from Sri Lanka, but the information has been very useful and I will definitely use them. Thanks to you, i decided to visit after September.. Keep bringing more videos like this, much appreciated...
Thank you so much for this video man, I am in my last semester, studying at FAST Lahore, and I was planning to go to Dubai as a fresh graduate in June. This video guided me a lott!
The nationality thing is sad but true, and somehow understandable.. The recruiter would give u a salary that tops the salary u had back in ur homeland in order to attract u to come to shift ur work here.. And since naturally westerns get more salaries in their countries than easterns they will definitely be offered higher one!
It is interesting to know about the nationality being a major factor. Also very sad that the colonial hangover is so strong. You get to see the same issue in places like Thailand, S Korea where prefereance is given to US / UK passport holders and preferably white. Literally any common backpacker can come to Asian countries, get a job at a VERY high salary and live really well. If this is not racism, then I dunno what it is.
I'm from Algeria, way too far from india lol, planning to go to dubai this year, your video was really helpfull and interresting, wish you all the best Murrad
Great video , Viewers would be more happy if you could make more video related finding jobs in UAE, finding rooms in uae etc and many more related to uae . Its a humble request brother.♥️
I'M NEW TO BTC AND I'VE BEEN MAKING LOSSES TRYING TO MAKE PROFIT MYSELF IN TRADING...I THOUGHT TRADING ON DEMO ACCOUNT IS JUST LIKE TRADING THE REAL MARKET... CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT OR AT LEAST ADVICE ME ON WHAT TO DO?
Great Murad...it's been really quite helpful with loads of useful tips in your video. You are doing a great service to all the aspirants. Just one suggestion......your too much hand movement is little annoying and disturbing. If you can curtail a little bit that will be amazing. Good luck !!
I have been searching job since months in UAE but..... Being a degree holder and having a experience in UAE, still it's really hard to find a job. Most of the Employers want a person who'll work for low salary, Only in Corporate world people look for experience and skills. Some get job easily on luck or reference, someone like me....🙁
Thanks for the video. You answered like 80% of the questions I have in mind. Looking to get a 90 days visa (tourist) and do the job hunt. Gonna be watching your videos brother. New subscriber here🎉❤
I have faced exactly all of this also arabic speaking and having a drivers license is an important criteria especially in digital marketing jobs, i also face a lot of random whatsapp msgs by HRs where they just share the location and expect you to show up for the interview without a formal call or discussing any salary bracket and when you go there it is highly unorganized and then I experienced a company which was super professional and blocked my calendar and shared the metro lines to reach and started the interview on time and all of that… I have a resident visa here however it is looking tough without a uae experience, the hunt is still on! 😅he is right july aug sept all are on vacay mode so lets see how October turns out to be.
@@shakkipk8740 here the license is like a national identity kinda means the person is well versed with the locality and independent, doesnt need to waste time in walking and metros
Hy Murrad nice hearing your experience and therviews I am glad to hear you right now even I am thinking to have a job in Dubai in sometime I am working in an international company right now I think from reference I can be there easily ,but it's really nice to hear from you and thank you
A very genius effort. Didn’t feel like scrolling anyone else’s channel, this was so satisfactory . Just a small question,if you could cater to. Why would you suggest a 90 days tourist visa and not 90 days work visa? In case someone lands a job in a month they won’t be able to join it on this tourist visa.
So true :) I have all the qualifications and skills and still didn’t get a job!! I cleared all the 7 rounds of an interview in a start up and still they hired someone else for the role. I went into depression!!! Such a toxic job market !!!
@@satvik4566 It’s not toxic first of all we need to understand the world around us. Contacts are the real asset. After you loss your job if ur not placed in any company within two weeks it means you have a poor contacts. Build valuable contacts around you. If you don’t have a reference you can’t get job in gulf as a fresher even sometimes for a experienced candidates because now a days the markets are so competitive you need to stand out of everyone and as a fresher you need at least 4 to 5 years of exp in your home country .
Okay ! First of all, when I said toxic job market, I really meant it. When does having good contacts became a criteria to get placed? I upload my profile in Naukri India, I get 10-15 interview calls in a week and I end up with multiple job offers within a month. A job market where you require “contacts” to get a job is TOXIC !!!
And I attended an interview in Dubai wherein there were lots of qualified Candidates, yet the one who had reference got the job ! You call that a healthy job market ? It’s the extremity of TOXIC. I am quite sure a lot of other candidates will have similar story to tell ! Even if you have contacts, the one who is referred by the senior most person gets the job. You think that’s healthy ??
bhaiya, I wanna know more about studying abroad just after 12th (like colleges, scholarships) I'm interested in AI n stuff (to sum up - I want to study abroad after 12th).... want your help, any good sources online, maybe a video on the topic ?? 😁😁
@rishit Mall .. try and learn German in Germany they have much cheaper eduction than other countries if you know German! You’ll get scholarships also. Few universities don’t even charge the fees. Give it a try
Thank you. It was helpful. Could you plz make a vlog on how things are different for a solo woman searching for a job in Dubai (including the living expenses, accomodation, safety and all)
thanks my brother. much love from Pakistan.. been coming to AE since 2011 as a tourist to see my family every summer till 2018.. Well unluckily my family came back to country permanent but now is my time to go back & live the professional not tourise life. Wish me luck my bro & loads of wishes to you I'll be coming in Mid-October gonna reside in Deira fosure!! Meetup soon maybe :D x
@@zeeuniverse7864 It is dear, and also it depends upon on area of law that you're hunting too corporate, international arbitration and trade/investment laws this is the case what I mentioned , litigation and regulatory work definitely needs a local UAE experience...I reckon...
Forget jobs, even as a freelancer, there is salary/ payment disparity based on nationality, for the same job! And Dubai is an expensive city, even without direct taxes.
Hi gentlemen, what should be the monthly remuneration for logistics manager in UAE,i have completed BBA, MBA in logistics and i have 6 years of work experience in the field

My friend wants to apply for job in Dubai.. Currently she is working as a Director in US healthcare company. It's one of the top company in India. She has got more than 23 years experience. Please guide how to apply for senior management jobs in Dubai
Actually I was working in k.s.a since 10 years as senior store manager .Due to family reason am in india now need your asistant about how should I apply for Dubia visa in recent situation .....
Westerners are more coveted as generally they have more experience, qualifications that are standard and multi cultural awareness than say An Indian from Bombay or a Cambodian… also many Dubai citizens have gone to school and university in U.K./USA and are familiar with that culture … it’s not a race issue it’s an employment issue matching jobs and culture to the applicant
I tried to take the so called "any job" (except accounts, finance, sales and marketing) during my struggles and that also did not work out...Sigh!...Finally i got a job of my background requirements
Great video, thank you very much. ??? I just got my 3 months visa but I'm coming to dubai 45 days from now, I'm applying from home at the moment, should I mention these 2 details in my coverletter/email, or should I make it seem like I'm already in dubai ???
Bro, I did my Masters in USA and had to come back to India because of not being able to get a job that could sponsor me a visa. As a result, I had to come back to India and now I work as an AI engineer at a startup for 20,000 Rs. But, Masters ke karche hue lag bagh 1 Cr( including lifestyle expenses). Now, I wish to go to Europe for a job. Should I be doing another masters because my eventual goal is to live and work in Europe. Would love to hear your thoughts and kindly give me your guidance.
