how i actually got my riot gun buddy was from a dev that gave riot gun buddies to 7 of my friends not including me but i ended up getting one.

It's true to an extent, but most riot employees have their own criteria. Met a brim riot employee that only gives gun buddy if you killed another riot dev on the opposite team. At least that's what he said was his criteria. In a immortal game with a viper riot employee that said he only gives the buddy if you get 2 kills with a knife in one round. Riot Mikey was in my game and his criteria was to be funny and chill. Yes you can get one by being a good sport, but some employees have secondary criteria for getting one. Gl y'all Side note: got mine after getting two ace in an unrated with a rito employee

My friend’s working at riot as an intern and she was giving out riot buddies whenever someone asked. it’s easy to get one from someone you know as I received close to 18 buddies on 18 separate accounts

i dont get why people are toxic in val (i get when they are tilted from losing a lot, but like people who live to play this game toxic and troll) its so much easier to be nicer and joke around with teammates. like first of all, everyone sitting behind a monitor and keyboard is basically a ufc champion so theres no point in trying to be the one on top of an argument. number two, if someones toxic round 1, the whoollleee vibe is ruined no matter how much people try to “cmon guys we got this” or “cmon guys dont be like that” val players egos are just too much to go back to friendly. it just takes so much less effort to be nice and that effort you would have used to be toxic and yell could be diverted to concentrating on the game. i thought mw2 lobbies back in the day were bad, but this level of toxic almost seems entitled to some people and it seems like its what motivates people to play which is so sad
