whenever i use the nvidia control panel i check the box and make my custom res but then it just turns compacted instead of stretched

I have alphares and it was working well for 3-4 months then a few days ago I had an update for my windows version then I did it and started fort and it froze every time and wouldn’t give me the stretch res I even tried all he other methods except the nvidia one cause I don’t have a nvidia graphics card but yeah help pls

Dude please i beg you help me each time i apply it my monitor just brings my resolution down and i go from 165hrtz to 60hrtz it never did that before and i get really bad quality and it says my resolution is 1680×1030 or smt like that 😢

its because you need a display cable to run the max fps if you have one right click on your wallpaper go to display settings and then advanced display and then your go to refresh rate and put it on the highest option

Go to customize stretch res in nvdia and it should let you select your hertz only found out today mine wouldn’t move off 144 and then I customised a res and it let me change it and it stays on everything

Can someone please help me? I did the configuration method as well as the alpha res method, and it still did not work. The resolution still looks like "Native". Please comment any tips that I should do to get stretched resolution :).

man just press windows and r, write %localappdata% press enter,find FORTNITEGAME,SAVED,CONFIG,WINDOWSCLIENT,GAMEUSER SETTINGS,then scroll down till u find resolution and edit it in whatever u want
